00:00We only catch 16% of cancers through standard of care screening.
00:04So the other 84% of cancers are caught when you're symptomatic
00:08or incidentally, if you're lucky enough to have a car accident
00:12and get imaged and they find a cancer incidentally.
00:14So we take these thousands of images
00:20and with these images we're able to diagnose cancer as early stage one,
00:24aneurysms, and most any disease that one day
00:28we would call a chronic disease,
00:31we're able to see that at a preclinical, at a pre-chronic stage.
00:35Wow.
00:35I mean, and it seems like we hear so many stories
00:38about younger people getting cancer.
00:41It just seems like these things are happening more and more.
00:45And it kind of, I don't know,
00:47there's sort of something very morbid about it.
00:48You kind of feel like you're just continuing on your way
00:51until someday you're going to find out that you have stage four something.
00:55And it's really an awful way to live.
00:58Well, I think a lot of people live with this anxiety about their health.
01:02I mean, particularly myself, I've worked so hard during my career
01:05and I would have headaches or I wouldn't feel well.
01:07And there's always that voice in your head saying,
01:10well, maybe this is something.
01:12And so these screenings give patients an opportunity
01:16to quieten down that voice.
