00:04It is in fact contained in a truth social post.
00:07It is quite a lengthy one, but I think it's worth bringing it to you in full.
00:11He says the United States has been informed by most of our NATO allies in inverted commas
00:19that they don't want to get involved with our military operation
00:21against the terrorist regime of Iran in the Middle East,
00:24this despite the fact that almost every country strongly agreed with what we're doing
00:28and that Iran cannot in any way, shape or form be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.
00:33I'm not surprised by their action, however, because I always considered NATO,
00:37where we spend hundreds of billions of dollars per year,
00:40protecting these same countries to be a one-way street.
00:44We will protect them, but they will do nothing for us, in particular in a time of need.
00:50Fortunately, we have decimated Iran's military.
00:53Their navy is gone, their air force is gone, their anti-aircraft and radar is gone,
00:56and perhaps most importantly, their leaders at virtually every level are gone,
01:01never to threaten us, our Middle Eastern allies or the world again.
01:05Because of the fact that we have had such military success,
01:08we no longer need or desire the NATO country's assistance.
01:13We never did.
01:14Likewise, Japan, Australia or South Korea,
01:17in fact, speaking as President of the United States of America,
01:20by far the most powerful country anywhere in the world,
01:23we do not need the help of anyone.
01:26Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump.
01:31It's obviously a timely time to remind us that America saying that NATO exists
01:38to protect countries, it's a one-way street,
01:41that they will never do anything for us, particularly in a time of need,
01:43that the only time Article 5 NATO has been invoked
01:45was indeed to protect America following the 9-11 attacks in New York.
01:52So another lengthy and angry post.
