A DW conversou com um jovem que sobreviveu a um ataque homofóbico brutal.Gavin (nome alterado) conta que os assaltantes roubaram seu celular e cartão bancário, fizeram empréstimos em seu nome e ligaram para seus pais e amigos para extorquir dinheiro deles em troca da sua vida.

Ele só foi libertado quando os sequestradores acharam que já tinham conseguido dinheiro suficiente. Mas o medo permanece.
