Iran's Ambassador to India, Mohammad Fatali, confirmed that Tehran has allowed Indian vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz amid ongoing conflict, though he declined to disclose the number of ships permitted, citing security concerns. Speaking at an event, Ambassador Fatali emphasised the historical ties between Iran and India, stating that 'the pain, the Iranians are suffering the same that Indians feel.' He revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's telephone conversation with Iranian President Pezeshkian faced delays due to connectivity issues with Tehran during the war. The ambassador acknowledged Iran is under unprecedented attack, claiming that 165 schoolgirls aged 8 to 12 were killed when their school was hit by Tomahawk missiles, and that 37 Iranian commanders were martyred. He suggested attacks originated from bases in neighbouring countries, specifically mentioning the Arab Emirates, though he refused to confirm details to preserve regional relations. Ambassador Fatali asserted that Iran warned neighbouring countries their assets would not be targeted, but American bases would face consequences.

00:14In a world of turmoil and we've been having a conversation for the past two days on what's
00:21happening in West Asia, is there an end game in sight and what happens when the Strait of Hormuz
00:29does not open for a longer period of time? Because everybody here, not just in India, but across
00:37the world now, we're feeling the pinch and the pain of shortage in oil supply. But we
00:44have a stakeholder in this war joining us today, Ambassador of Iran to India, Ambassador
00:52Mohamed Fatali. Thank you so much for joining us. Yes, it's absolutely for you.
00:59Ambassador Fatali, let me begin with the conversations that have taken place. It took
01:05a while for the Indian Premier to make that call finally and have that conversation with
01:12President Pazeshkian. How was it received firstly in Iran and how have you managed the tough times
01:22of the responses from New Delhi when it comes to the attack, the responses from New Delhi when
01:29it comes to an Iranian ship having been sunk by America off the coast of Gaul in the Indian
01:36ocean in India's backyard?
01:41First of all, with your permission, I want to thank you for providing me this opportunity

02:57right side of history. And I believe that his eminence stood on the right side of history and received his
03:10reward. Because we believe that the martyrdom is not granted to everybody. It's selected by Almighty Allah.
03:19And so you know that his eminence guide us and bring our country to high level of technology and science
03:33you can see in the
03:34virtual space. And now we believe that the Iranian people and all the free nation are deeply sudden for this
03:52martyrdom.
04:09In regard to your question that you raised in this event, His Excellency PM Moody, they had a telephone conversation
04:18with his
04:30.
04:32My opinion is this that we have to boost and enhance the relation between Iran and India.
04:42.
04:48I, as ambassador of Iran, it was my duty to organize this telephone conversation. I did it.
04:59I believe that Iran and India have a common interest. I believe that both countries have the same fate.
05:16.
05:17I believe that if there is any rift or any gap between these two countries, the enemies will actually use
05:24it.

06:04conversation but after I mean during the after some days we could establish
06:09connection between the Iranian and India using that there was a problem in
06:14connecting there was a problem in connecting with Tehran and that's why
06:18there was a delay in conversation. There was a little problem but we could
06:26manage it. After hours we could manage and to establish the
06:35connection. We are now supporting each other because we believe that the pain
06:47the Iranian are suffering the same that Indian feel and the same pain if there
06:52would be for the Indian it is ours and you have read the news about it.
07:00No need I tell you again. Right Ambassador there were also conversations
07:05between Foreign Minister Araki and External Affairs Minister Dr. Jaishankar
07:10after which has the decision been made that there will be the vessels Indian
07:15vessels will be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. How many ships for
07:20how many days because India would require continued supply of LPG which we are
07:25really shorter? If you allow me there are some details if you allow me not to tell
07:40because it is not good because maybe it would be some other abuse of these issues.
07:45But do you have allowed ships to pass through? Yes we have allowed but let me not to tell you
07:53how many.
07:58Because Iran and India have the historical relations.
08:06Iran and India are the both country that they can have a very effective actually on the region.
08:21I as ambassador I did my best of course there was some delay but it happened.
08:28Okay but moving on to the bigger picture over here we will talk about the ship and the vessels again
08:35but there has been a massive attack that Iran came that Iran has faced and you've lost your supreme leader.
08:44Was Iran prepared for this because we were there just a few days before the attack.
08:50We interviewed Foreign Minister Araqchi and a few hours after we left Iran came under attack.
08:58Were you prepared? Did you know that Iran was going to come under attack?
09:09From this view point that we were ready this is a real matter.
09:17I will tell this to the dear audiences and that I tell you the one point.
09:24We have to tell you the one point.
09:28Excuse me. We announced several times that be aware and the opposite side.
09:37Be aware Iran ready for negotiation and the war.
09:44We are not like, but we prefer negotiation.
09:50We know that we reinterred in the negotiation table.
09:54We reinterred despite of, we announced very well their intention.
10:01But we want to take away any excuse and any pretext.
10:09That's right.
10:10Yeah?
10:11And what also we announced several times.
10:16Be aware.
10:19You were ready, Ambassador, but were you ready
10:21or did you know that they will actually assassinate a superior?
10:24Yeah, yeah, yeah.
10:25We are ready also to do war.
10:28But be aware.
10:30You can start and you cannot finish.
10:34And you know that our leader lived in his house
10:39because Eminence believed that if you prepare shelter for the 90 million people,
10:50after that we go on the shelter.
10:53A lot of people actually had this question, including our chairperson, Arun Puri.
10:58He actually asked me, why was the Supreme Leader there if there was a threat?
11:04Why was he there?
11:05Why was his family in the same compound when you knew that the missiles were coming flying?
11:13This is the right issue that you are mentioning.
11:27You witnessed that there were a lot of actual information and news that the Iranian great leader,
11:33he was in the shelter or he moved away from the country to another country.
11:37But this when happened, it showed that all of them there were false and he was in his house.
11:42And if I want to say some examples of their personality,
11:59Let me say some words about his character because those things that you hear from the mass media, which is
12:07mostly the Westerners, which they don't actually say the true faces of the story.
12:28This is one of the reasons that all of the people in Iran, no matter which religion or which race
12:32they are or ethnicity they actually are belonging to, because of this, he is the simplicity of their life.
12:41A very simple life, understanding precisely what is happening,
12:55how to lead Iran from this very critical crisis that we are facing.
13:11If I want to talk about this crisis that we have actually passed through, it may take some hours, but
13:17I will just mention some of them.
13:24I request you to go to see the American statement after the 11th September 2000.
13:33We could pass those crises very carefully.
13:42Please check the Afghanistan crisis.
13:50Yes.
13:50We tried our best how to pass this crisis as well.
13:57And you will see the war of Iraq, ICS, Daesh.
14:12And the people are having the belief in him that he could manage all of these crises and not go
14:18to any war.
14:19But, excuse me, despite all the sanctions and limitations,
14:38despite all of these problems that we are facing, I request you to go and see the Iran's rank in
14:44science, biotechnology, nanotechnology in the region and in the world as well.
14:48I request you to go to one sentence.
14:50I request you to go and see, from the beginning of the revolution,
14:54we have several different sanctions.
14:57And please just go and see that from the beginning of the revolution,
15:02that how many sanctions we are under, actually have been put under these kinds of sanctions.
15:30Well, Ambassador, we know, you're delving into the past, you're talking about countries and their experience,
15:36but right now Iran is under direct attack, unprecedented by Israel and US.
15:42You're saying that we are showing them their place and that it's a resilient Iran.
15:49But Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has said that their job is not over till Iran is over.
15:55The Americans are standing by Israel.
15:59In such a scenario, how do you see and where do you see the end game?
16:03Yeah.
16:03Because you have bombs coming in irrespective of what you're saying right now.
16:09That's right.
16:32That's right.
16:33From the beginning, the time, the scope, geography, and the end of the war, it is in our hand.
16:45And we have announced this one to all of the countries, including our neighbors.
16:53We had and we have a very good relation with our neighbors.
16:59But you're attacking them.
17:01But you're attacking them.
17:02Yes, I know.
17:03I will explain for you.
17:05We have announced them that you will not be actually touched your assets, whatever you have inside your country.
17:20But we have asked them what we should do.
17:32And what we should do when one of my schools, including the children, were heated by the Tom Hawk missiles
17:40of Americans.
17:48And 165 girls between the age of the 8 to 12 years old were killed.
18:01Let me, I will go back to that 12 days war in June.
18:04The same happened in that war also.
18:08But we ignored.
18:15But this time we warned them seriously, this time that if happens, there would be consequences for them.
18:22What consequences?
18:24We respect them completely.
18:28But we will target the American bases, definitely we will need them.
18:35I have a question of you.
18:43Why the Americans actually acknowledged that the three F-15 were actually down.
18:51Definitely they were not for transporting the passengers.
19:01Yesterday they announced five refueling planes were hit.
19:06Why they are here?
19:08For what?
19:13And we are witnessing that our Shiraz, one of the city of Iran, were targeted by one of the bases
19:19in one of the neighboring countries.
19:27But it is very bad that we witnessed that these schools were hit by one of the bases from one
19:34of the neighboring countries.
19:36Yes.
19:37You are saying that the Menard School was hit not from the aircraft carriers but from one of the countries.
19:43Yes.
19:44In West Asia, which country?
19:47Where did the Tomahawk come from?
19:49No, please.
19:51Let me not announce it today.
19:54Why?
20:04Because we believe that our relation with our neighbors should be in the highest level.
20:19We believe there are the neighbors.
20:21They have to live peacefully together and consider the other sovereignty.
20:3037 of our commanders were martyred.
20:35What do you think that they came from?
20:38They came from these bases in the army.
20:40They've actually shown me do you need chantopayga that at all of Iran has?
20:43Do you know how many bases are around us?
20:45How many?
20:47How many?
20:48Do you know or not?
20:49Do you know?
20:51Really?
20:52Yeah, how many bases?
20:53Really?
20:54No, how many bases where?
20:56Do you know or not?
20:57Why the Mrs. Mahan knows the...
21:00What?
21:01What are you asking?
21:02He doesn't know how many bases are around Iran.
21:06Oh, how many bases are around Iran?
21:09Yeah, yeah, yeah.
21:09How many bases are around Iran?
21:12They said, they announced that 19 bases.
21:1719 bases.
21:18For what?
21:19Pes maa imkanat ro darim.
21:22We have the equipment and we have the facilities.
21:25Maa to aen jang az heech kasi darchast kumak nakhadim.
21:29In this war, we did not ask anybody, any country, to help us.
21:38You know that how could we produce or make these missiles on which conditions?
21:44And I know he wants to say that.
21:46Okay.
21:49The...
21:50Our enemies suffered strategy failure.
21:56You're calling Iran, Israel and America's...
21:59Yeah, yeah.
22:00United States...
22:01Attack a strategic failure.
22:01United States and...
22:02United States of America, United States of USA and the Zionist regime.
22:08We suffered the strategic failure in the three key components.
22:15Okay.
22:15One, people, our people.
22:19Two, our army.
22:23And three, our leader.
22:26Thank you so much, Ambassador.
22:27Thank you so much.
22:27Thank you so much.
22:30Thank you, Ambassador.
