00:05So we're here today to celebrate the Eden Project's 25th anniversary. Can you
00:09believe it? 25 years old and what's behind us now is the largest rainforest
00:13in captivity and 25 years ago all this was was a great hole in the ground, a
00:18China clay pit. It's incredible 25 million people have visited here since
00:23we opened and we have pulled in over 6.8 billion pounds. I'll just say that again
00:296.8 billion pounds the local and regional economy. We're so proud of that figure
00:33because we know that we've actually been pulling people into this area an area
00:38that really relies on tourism. I hadn't expected that here on our 25th birthday I
00:45would think that we had a really big project to build and that project is not
00:50about bricks and mortar it is about hope because people of your age all around the
00:56country. I mean 10 million people they say are feeling anxious about the future and
01:01our duty is to create moments that make people believe that actually the future
01:06remains ours today.
