00:00Authorities in the UAE announced the temporary shutting of the country's airspace after an
00:06Iranian drone struck an oil tank farm in the Emirate of Fujairah early on Tuesday.
00:11On Monday, Iranian attacks targeted the Emirate as well as Dubai International Airport as its
00:17retaliatory campaign continues to reel the wider region into conflict and instability.
00:23U.S. President Donald Trump says Tehran's reckless strikes were not anticipated by Washington.
00:30I heard they were sending missiles to UAE. I said, that's strange. You know, UAE is like the banker for
00:36Iran.
00:38They're like the banker. Qatar, their neighbors, they got along okay. Saudi Arabia. All of a sudden, Kuwait.
00:48Kuwait is getting hit. Bahrain is getting hit. All these countries are getting hit.
00:54There was no expert that would say that was going to happen.
00:57The Israeli army announced early on Tuesday that it was carrying out new strikes across Iran,
01:02targeting military sites as it looks to eliminate the country's offensive posture.
01:07The IDF also said they were expanding attacks into neighboring Lebanon,
01:11where limited and targeted ground operations are taking place against the Iran-backed Hezbollah group.
01:17We went to the war. We went to the war. We went to the war. We went to the war.
01:21We went to the war.
01:22I remember that even before the administration, there were five conditions in our units, in the border of the border.
01:27Meanwhile, the Trump administration is continuing to push for international assistance to establish a policing force
01:34to secure the vital Strait of Hormuz and stabilize a global energy price crisis.
01:40Brent crude continued to trade at over $100 a barrel on Tuesday, roughly 40% higher than pre-war figures.
01:47Trump has previously threatened that a lack of cooperation could signal a very bad future for NATO allies who have
01:54so far been reluctant to commit to his proposal.
02:00Here in Dubai, we had public warning alerts go off in the early hours of the morning.
02:05It's the first time we have heard them since Friday, and we're told it was a similar situation in Doha
02:11overnight.
02:13Now, what followed here was possibly the loudest boom that we have heard since the war with Iran began.
02:19Now, the air defense systems here are doing an incredible job,
02:22and the authorities have expressed their deep gratitude to the European countries who are aiding that defense,
02:29in particular, France, Italy, Germany and the UK.
02:33Now, Iran are putting economic pressure across the region, across the Gulf,
02:38and, of course, this will have a ripple effect to the wider global economy.
02:44Now, Iran are also maintaining that stranglehold on the Strait of Hormuz.
02:49In addition, they've now started a social media scare campaign, sending out warnings,
02:56I guess trying to put some kind of psychological pressure on people as they ramp up their game play.
03:04Of course, this comes as the Iranian, the new Iranian supreme leader, remains unseen since his election.
03:10A leaked audio this morning has revealed that he actually cheated death by just seconds
03:17when he stepped out into his garden as a missile hit his home, killing his father.
03:24Also today, Kuwait's Ministry of Interior have announced that they arrested Hezbollah-affiliated terrorist cell.
03:32Now, that's the third country in the region to arrest cells who have been linked to destabilization,
03:39sabotage and espionage.

03:49Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London
03:54for talks on peace and sanctions on Russia.
03:58Starmer stressed the importance of continued support for Ukraine despite the ongoing U.S.-Israeli war in Iran.
04:05I think it's really important that we're clear that the focus must remain on Ukraine.
04:13There is obviously a conflict in Iran going on in the Middle East,
04:17but we can't lose focus on what's going on in Ukraine, around the need for our support.
04:24And secondly, it's really important, we're clear and consistent,
04:28that Putin can't be the one who benefits from the conflict in Iran,
04:34whether that's oil prices or the dropping of sanctions.
04:41Zelenskyy said the talks would also assess energy security
04:44after Russia hammered Ukraine's power grid over the winter and the battlefield situation.
04:50He also criticized Washington's move to ease oil sanctions on Russia
04:54and a bid to ease pressure on global supplies triggered by the war in the Middle East.
04:58He warned that it would provide a windfall for Moscow to keep up its attacks on Ukraine.
05:09Ukraine has agreed to an external inspection of the damaged Druzhba pipeline
05:14funded by the European Union, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen
05:19and European Council President Antonio Costa said on Tuesday.
05:23The announcement was made just two days before European leaders gathered in Brussels for a summit
05:28hoping to lift Hungary's veto on a €90 billion loan for key.
05:32The Ukrainian authorities are welcoming the technical support that we are, we offered,
05:42that we put on the table, technical and financial support.
05:46And in this sense, an expert is available to go to Ukraine.
05:53Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban claims the pipeline is operational
05:58and has been kept shut by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for political reasons
06:03to influence the upcoming Hungarian elections on the 12th of April.
06:08Zelenskyy argued the interruption was caused by Russian attacks on the infrastructure
06:13and complained he was being pressured by European allies to reopen the pipeline.
06:23A rising number of non-communicable diseases, shortages of health care workers and a growing aging population
06:30are shaping the European health landscape.
06:34Speaking at Euronews Health Summit on Tuesday, European Health Commissioner Oliver Varheyi
06:39emphasized the needs to protect Europe's distinct health care model while also stressing the need for reform.
06:46The European health care model is unique in the world.
06:51It is unique and we should preserve it.
06:55Nowhere else you have such universal coverage of the state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatment.
07:04But I must also tell you that the signs are not very good.
07:10The signs are pointing that this model is under major challenge.
07:19We must face the reality, therefore, that the system is under pressure
07:24and we just cannot take it for granted that it will stay with us tomorrow as well.
07:30The Commissioner outlined several European reforms aimed at strengthening the union
07:34and boosting resilience and crisis response.
07:37From a revamp to the block's pharmaceutical rules
07:40to a biotech act aimed at making it easier to bring products from the laboratory to the market,
07:45simplification is at the core of the initiatives.
07:48We're living in uncertain times.
07:51By simplifying what should be simplified,
07:55implementing and enforcing and updating our rules,
07:59we move further towards the future we want.
08:03The future where innovation thrives
08:05and ideas are turned into treatments much faster,
08:10where preventing disease is the norm
08:13and where Europeans can expect only the best from their healthcare system.
08:19Varhe noted the new initiatives will put the European health industry
08:23at the forefront of the global innovation race
08:26and will deliver the best health technologies to the citizens.
08:32March 17 is the highlight of the Irish calendar
08:34as millions celebrate St. Patrick's Day across the globe
08:37and in its historic homeland.
08:39For this centuries-old celebration of heritage and culture,
08:42revelers wear green clothes to dance to traditional music
08:45and witness one of the world's most famous parades.
08:48The festivities draw hundreds of thousands of visitors to Dublin,
08:52where the city's epic four-day festival
08:54concludes with a vibrant march from Parnell Square to the city center.
08:58Beyond Ireland, the day is being marked by high-profile visits abroad.
09:03In Washington, D.C., U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance
09:06and his wife Ushah welcome the Taoiseach of Ireland,
09:09Michelle Martin and his wife Mary,
09:10to the Naval Observatory after hosting them
09:13to a traditional Irish-American St. Patrick's Day breakfast.
09:16Yeah.
09:17The Taoiseach is also scheduled to meet with President Donald Trump
09:21at the White House before attending a formal lunch with lawmakers at the capital.
09:26Back in Ireland, the atmosphere remains festive
09:28as treasure hunts, art installations, theater
09:31and traditional Kaidi sessions continue throughout the evening
09:34to mark the national holiday.
09:40The football team is pleased to meet with President Donald Trump
09:44at the White House before attending a tour.
10:05The Nationalìa Breakfast
10:05It's really the union of the creation of new rocks, of the creation of the Earth
10:12and it comes to the ocean, it comes to the touch of the ocean, it comes to the touch of
10:17the ocean.
10:17We see the two which fusion, really.
10:20We see the evolution which is created right here, just under our eyes,
10:23with this vapor which is moving.
10:26It's powerful, it's mystic, it's fabulous.
10:28We're lucky because it's a pretty difficult terrain to arrive here,
10:34so we really need to do it.
10:36We need to be equipped, because we don't need to do anything.
10:39It remains a volcano, it can be dangerous.
10:42We're lucky and fascinated because it's a wonderful spectacle.
11:11The origin of this eruption is that it lasts quite a long time.
11:14There were eruptions that have lasted longer,
11:15but it's something, compared to the last eruption,
11:18that is quite notable for this eruption,
11:20which explains why we've reached, finally, this night, the ocean.
