00:07Hello everyone, Guang Guang here, it's great to be back with you all.
00:17Mayor Fisk never imagined that his city, still reading from the devastation of the internal night,
00:25would face an even greater crisis.
00:27Out of nowhere, Archimax Corporation from the year 2099 designs upon Lower Manhattan,
00:35spreading its influence like a plague and transforming entire neighborhoods into their 2099 counterparts.
00:43Determined to save New York from being completely consumed, Fisk takes desperate measures.
00:50He orders a city lockdown, arrests all superheroes from different timelines,
00:56and hires black cats to steal a mysterious stone tablet.
01:01He believes this tablet holds the key to New York's survival,
01:05but unknowingly, his actions have crossed the line with the current Tiger Division director, White Fox.
01:13To rescue her captured colleague, Luna Snow, White Fox risks everything to infiltrate this barricaded foreign city.
01:21In Season 7, White Fox joins Marvel Rivals.
01:26White Fox is a strategist who wields the power of her Gumiho bloodline alongside swift martial arts,
01:34adapting her combat style to fit any battle situation.
01:38In combat, she can use your Gate Sword to heal allies and damage enemies,
01:44absorb and store Gumiho energy, then unleash it to buff teammates and charm foes.
01:51Whether allies are getting dived or trapped behind enemy lines,
01:56White Fox can instantly reach their side, channel her Fox bloodline for partial transformations,
02:02and use sharp claws and mystical tails to push back enemies while hitting teammates.
02:09When she activates her ultimate, White Fox reveals her full nine-tailed form,
02:15using powerful claw strikes to suppress enemies and heal allies,
02:20while also infusing Gumiho energy into teammates to grant them unstoppable and left-steel effects,
02:28helping the team thrive in crucial moments.
02:30The new convergence map, Lower Manhattan, will launch after the Apple 2nd update.

04:47Now, I'll hand it over to Zhiyong for all the details on Season 7 team-up ability changes and balance
04:55updates.
04:57Hey Rivals, I'm Zhiyong, and as Season 6 comes to a close and Season 7 approaches, I'm here to walk
05:05you through all the team-up ability changes and our major balance adjustments, featuring a comprehensive and deep analysis of
05:14our balancing approach.
05:23White Fox and her agents of Atlas teammate, Luna Snow, reunite in this new team-up ability.
05:31White Fox grants Luna a Spirit Fox that protects her.
05:34Luna can activate and send out the Spirit Fox, which travels in a straight line, passing through both allies and
05:42enemies, healing teammates while damaging and briefly charming foes.
05:47After launching the Fox, Luna also gains a movement speed boost for a short duration.
05:56Storm channels her elemental power into Adam Warlock with the force of a swelling cyclone.
06:03When Adam uses his soaring surge ability, his movement speed is increased.
06:09While flying, Adam leaves behind a trudge trail that heals and speeds up allies who pass through it.
06:21Jeff Nadal is set to dissipate and be removed from play.
06:26Duality Dance has danced its last dance for now and is leaving the stage.
06:36Season 6 saw the arrival of Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone.
06:40Deadpool, as our first triple hero, brought teams more tactical flexibility.
06:47Thanks to his unique upgrade system, Deadpool can fulfill a variety of positions as matches progress through choosing different progression
06:56paths.
06:57His ultimate ability breaks the usual energy cycle, offering new ways for teams to breeze through enemy lines.
07:06Elsa Bloodstone is a new hitscan theorist.
07:09She builds up instinct in battle and uses her expert hunting skills.
07:14Switching between her elephant gun and shotgun to pressure enemy flight lines.
07:19Unleashing the grad trucks at the right moment can be devastating to the enemy team.
07:29Back in Season 5, we increased most heroes' base power and introduced new mechanics for ultimate ability energy acceleration and
07:38drain.
07:39This speed up matches, increased the frequency of ultimates, and made combat most rolling and intense, demanding better teamwork and
07:49coordination, especially to inflict overflow damage against the enemy during their strategy's ultimates.
07:56Considering the need to maintain a smooth transition, we carried this environment over into Season 6, where that puts unique
08:05ultimate energy system fit right in.
08:07But there is a trade-off.
08:10But there is a trade-off.
08:10Easier ultimate access makes fights more exciting.
08:13But it also compresses the windows for neutral combat or repositioning, making the rhythm relentless and potentially tiring over time.
08:23So, considering the changing battle environment over the past two seasons, we have put together a plan to restructure the
08:31current combat dynamic.
08:34Compared to previous seasons, more healing and damage exchanges also narrow the energy efficiency gap between triple strategies and standard
08:43double strategies lineups, lowering the energy barrier for triple strategies teams and making team composition more flexible.
08:51With strong baseline healing and protection, smart ultimate ability energy use, and fast-paced ultimate rotations, triple strategies teams offer
09:01high survivability.
09:03In this environment, dev heroes require increased teamwork to effectively burst down backliners or provide sustained disruption to make an
09:13impact.
09:14Divers who lack team coordination or solo dive have less value.
09:19Pog heroes, meanwhile, can relentlessly strip away at their foes, applying pressure to their survival and push both teams' ultimate
09:29into faster cycles.
09:31When team fights break out, triple strategies lineups can survive longer to withstand enemy assaults.
09:38After absorbing this onslaught, they can unleash a powerful counterattack relying on vanguard and dearest ultimates to turn the tide
09:47of battle.
09:48And while this is strong, we have heard the community thoughts about their playstyle, so let's look at some data
09:55on how much this truly affects the battlefield.
10:03We've seen the community discussion around third-party lineup stats, so here's the Season 6 lineup pick and win rates.
10:13We calculate this lineup uses stats based on time spent in each composition.
10:18For example, in a 10-minute game, if 2-2-2 is used for 6 minutes, it counts as 0
10:26.6 games for that lineup.
10:28If 2-1-3 is used for 4 minutes, it counts as 0.4 games.
10:34If the team wins, both lineups get credited promotionally for wins.
10:40Considering this, you can see that double strategies remain dominant,
10:44with the classic 2-2-2 comp having the highest win rate.
10:49This is because while triple strategies are strong and forgiving, to reach full potential,
10:56strategies players must contribute more damage.
10:59They must not only compensate for the team's overall damage output,
11:03but also bridge the energy efficiency gap created by the shell healing.
11:09Balancing healing, ultimate ability energy, and coordinating for maximum ultimate coverage.
11:15This takes skill and teamwork, making it more suited to large stacks.
11:21We share this data not to defend the current meta,
11:25but to encourage everyone to pick what works best for their team.
11:30We are making major changes to the overall environment in Season 7 for a better combat experience.
11:42We are reducing overall ultimate energy gain range by about 20%.
11:48This will be turned differently for vanguards and jurists versus strategies,
11:53to balance the experience for different team camps.
11:57For vanguards and jurists, damage to energy conversion will be reduced more,
12:03while passive energy region will be reduced less, resulting in maintaining the overall cut to around 20%.
12:11This narrows the gap between poke and dev heroes in energy game,
12:16letting divers catch up while repositioning or waiting for an opportunity.
12:21For strategies, damage and healing to energy conversion will be reduced less,
12:26while passive energy region will be reduced more, for a seemingly about 20% total reduction.
12:34This change rewards teams for successfully isolating, blocking, or dev in enemy strategies healing,
12:42and after the distribution of limited healing energy,
12:45makes triple strategies team's ultimate rotation less frequent, due to low passive region.
12:51This is a foundational change, and we will be monitoring it closely.
12:57Our goal is always to encourage line-up diversity, not to simply kill off triple strategies camps.
13:04Triple strategies teams will still offer high survivability through regular abilities,
13:10but may lag behind vanguards and jurists in ultimate cycles.
13:14Of course, there will always be exceptions.
13:18For example, a highly coordinated camp containing Gambit, Loki, Mantis will remain strong with good teamwork.
13:32Range heroes have a virtual role to inflict sustained harassment.
13:37They are required to check flyers and preemptively soften up divers.
13:41This strategy elevates the constant threat faced by the backline,
13:47helping to maintain a smoother overall pace of confrontation.
13:52We don't want a scenario where divers or flyers completely dominate the battlefield,
13:58which would be exhausting for everyone.
14:01So, we are cautious with adjustments to poke heroes, ensuring fair play and dynamic engagements.
14:08We already nerfed some ranged heroes in Season 6.5,
14:13and based on the combat data, their wing rates have shown a marked decline,
14:19so we will exercise caution in adjusting the ranged heroes.
14:24In Season 7, we will be nerfing Winter Soldier and Elsa Bloodstone,
14:29while buffing Hulk, Blade, Black Panther, Lillis, Deadpool, and others.
14:35However, since Steel Devil has been as strong for several seasons, he will be nerfed.
14:47Beyond these broad changes, in Season 7.0,
14:51Doctor Strange and Vanguard Deadpool will be nerfed,
14:55while Iron Man, Scully Witch, and Luna Snow will be buffed.
14:59Emma Frost, Magic, Gambit, Invisible Woman, and others will receive turning for the new environment.
15:06Gambit's ultimate is the main focus for his nerf.
15:15As you know, Marvel Rivals heroes are very mobile, which means landing skill shots can be tricky.
15:23That's why control effects are built into many cases to serve as a baseline guarantee for their skill sets.
15:30But as the hero roster grows, so does the number of CC effects,
15:35leading to negative gameplay experience when they stack.
15:39So, we are planning a new core mechanic change.
15:43If a hero is hit by multiple control effects in a short time, subsequent controls will be weakened.
15:50Since this is a big change, we will test Ruli before rolling it out, targeting Season 7.5 if all
15:57goes well.
15:58As always, this isn't everything.
16:02For full detailed balance changes, check the upcoming patched nodes.
16:06We will also be releasing the Season 6.5 hero pick and winrace very soon.
16:17In competitive, bands per team will increase from 2 to 3, and each band phase will be shorter.
16:24With more heroes in the pool, this should help balance the experience on both sides.
16:35In Season 7, placement matches will now factor in personal performance.
16:41After you finish all 10 placements, the system will evaluate your performance in those matches,
16:47and adjust your starting rank accordingly.
16:51Good performance means a bonus, poor performance a slight reduction,
16:56up to a max of one division in the way.
17:04Based on a great portion of the fan feedback,
17:07Tokyo 2099 Shun Shibuya will return to the competitive map pool in Season 7.
17:15We all want Marvel Rivals to be the best game possible,
17:18and we are walking around the clock to make sure it feels as great as ever.
17:23Please keep providing your feedback, and we are grateful for your kindness and patience.
17:29Ignite the battle!
