00:09Hey guys, Youngblood with you and welcome to 3.0. We are now actually able to post footage on this,
00:14so to give you a heads up, the Evacati test group has actually gone through 26 iterations of patches to
00:22get us to where we are at today.
00:24And what I want to go ahead and do is show you the Inner Thought system. I'm going to try
00:28and crank through a bunch of videos as we get to this point, but basically what I want to show
00:32you is how you can use Inner Thought.
00:34Now what Inner Thought is is how you interact with everything in the world. You notice there's a screen in
00:39front of me, but there's no Use button, which makes a big difference.
00:42In order to actually use this system, you hold the F button, and you'll actually then be able to see
00:47that there is a Use button present, and then you use your left mouse button to actually click on it.
00:53And it'll pull up your screen. From that point, you're just in a general situation, so we're going to go
00:58ahead and just pull a Gladius.
01:00And it'll tell us where we can pull a ship from. Let's see where it tells us to go. A07.
01:09So we will head that direction.
01:11Now prior to that point, I'm going to go ahead and take us into Garrity Defense, because you'll see, normally
01:19you come up to these and you've got like an F key, right, to do something, or a Use button
01:23to do something.
01:24We don't have that. So if you want to do anything, you hold the F key, and all of a
01:28sudden you can see that you can try on or buy.
01:30Now right now I'm using my mouse to point at the option I want to use, which is always an
01:35option.
01:35The other thing you can do is the scroll wheel to kind of go through the different options.
01:41So we're going to go out to the ship, and I'll show you how this actually works in the cockpit,
01:44because that's where it makes a bigger difference.
01:52You'll see I used the inner thought system to actually toggle that.
02:04So as you approach your ship, you're going to notice that you have several different options.
02:09You see all the plus marks that we're used to seeing in the hangar.
02:11Now you can point at them and do different things, or you can hit F and kind of look around.
02:15But basically you still interact with those the same way you did before to customize your ship.
02:19Now where things get a little bit different is when you get the kind of yellow highlighted areas, letting you
02:23know that it's an interactable spot.
02:26Hold F and you get options.
02:27So I can scroll down and get to open ladder, I can do open pilot canopy, either options available.
02:33So we're going to go ahead and just do enter pilot seat, which is going to open the ladder and
02:37the pilot canopy.
02:38And then you will climb in.
02:51So once you're in your ship, you've got a couple different options.
02:54You can actually come down and do flight ready, which will turn on your ship's power and your engines.
03:00Or you can just turn on the power.
03:02You can also look around and do engine on or engine off.
03:05Basically the engines are already off, so that doesn't do anything.
03:08So you can just turn on your engines, but then your systems aren't really going to be doing anything.
03:11The other option is when you get in a cockpit, flight ready basically just turns everything on.
03:17It's the simplest way to do it.
03:18But you can also just hit F5 and that will basically do flight ready.
03:22So you'll see when I hit this.
03:27And you'll notice the animations that were present there.
03:29Now that's actually unique to the Gladius.
03:32Not all ships actually have that present.
03:35But it is something that's a nice addition to have and others will eventually get that too.
03:40So now we're flying around and you'll notice my landing gear is down.
03:45You hit the N button to pull your landing gear up.
03:49Landing gear comes up and all of a sudden you're in SCM mode instead of precision and you have your
03:53top speed.
03:55Now once you actually are in flight, this is where things get a little bit interesting.
04:00Because you'll notice that I've got Port Alizar here, but where do I go?
04:04There's not quantum markers out here.
04:07You know, what do I do?
04:08So what you want to do is you want to switch over and you want to hit F1.
04:14That pulls up your MobiGlass.
04:16Now in MobiGlass you've got several different options.
04:19You've got this one right here, which is actually going to pull up your contract manager, which has the missions
04:24you can take on.
04:25You can come over to this one, which is going to show you the Cryostra services and gives you an
04:29estimate on the cost to do any of these.
04:32It's a fresh ship that I'm in, so there's no cost associated, which is why there's no numbers here.
04:38Liveworks AR, this isn't really very active right now. You can't do much.
04:43Journal will show some of the things you find when you're out searching.
04:46Like in PI missions, for example, it'll have things that you found listed here, like emails.
04:52Over here, you've got comm link.
04:54So I could technically comm Tazia.
04:56So if you're close enough to like Lovski or one of the other locations, you can actually request landing that
05:01way.
05:03This is where you can actually select the loadout for your person.
05:09This is going to be your star map.
05:12So this is the most important one.
05:15So I'm going to go ahead and take us to Daymar.
05:18Setting that is a destination.
05:20So I clicked on it and then it's a destination.
05:24I'm getting shot, so I'm going to go ahead and zoom out of here.
05:28And you'll see there's a marker there.
05:30So now I'm aligned.
05:32You can hit B to engage quantum.
05:46And we are in quantum travel and now approaching a moon.
05:52So now that we're here, you've got various markers that are actually available on the planet.
05:57You can just target those and move in on them directly.
06:01In a good general rule of thumb, if the number is higher than like 600, it's probably on the other
06:07side of the moon.
06:09So that's on the other side of the moon, that's on the other side of the moon, that's on the
06:15other side of the moon.
06:16Basically, we're not in a good spot.
06:17But outside of what you see on the planet, you also have these different options that are in space.
06:25OM2, OM6.
06:26These are orbital markers and basically allow you to quantum travel in short distances around the moon.
06:41Basically, I just hit B there and I was able to jump.
06:48And now all of a sudden I'm looking down at the planet.
06:50You'll notice these destinations are much closer.
06:53So Dunlow Ridge is very close.
06:56Wolf Point is very far.
06:57So Dunlow Ridge at 225 kilometers is on this side of the moon.
07:01Wolf Point Emergency Shelter is on the other side of the moon.
07:06So to enter atmosphere, you basically just get up to speed, point towards your destination, and hold down afterburner.
07:14And you'll notice that you get up to top speed.
07:23Now if you're noticing my speed getting very fast, currently crossing 1000, it's because I'm in the new afterburner cruise
07:32mode.
07:35What that does is it allows you to travel great distances when you're in space at high speed.
07:39So I'm moving very, very quickly without actually using quantum travel.
07:45Now, when you're in atmosphere, you are capped on how much you can use.
07:48So you can still use afterburner in atmosphere, but you're not necessarily going to travel super fast.
07:58So we're going to go ahead and enter atmosphere.
08:01And basically, you just want to point towards the destination that you're heading.
08:04Now, I use dual sticks.
08:05Getting to, you know, afterburner cruise, the mode that we're in right now, is a little bit finicky.
08:11So you want to make sure that you really get it lined up if you have a stick for your
08:14left hand.
08:15It's a whole lot easier if you're on standard HOTUS or if you have, you know, mouse and keyboard situation
08:22going on.
08:23Now, while we're flying in, I'll go ahead and let you know the various locations around moons, emergency shelters.
08:30There's not a lot that you can do with those spots.
08:33You know, it's like a location.
08:35You can like explore it.
08:37It's an outpost.
08:37It's cool.
08:39But ultimately, there's not much you can do.
08:41Missions make those a little bit more interesting because sometimes you have to go there, pick up cargo, take it
08:45to a different location, et cetera, et cetera.
08:47But that doesn't necessarily mean that it's a super great option for, you know, various other tasks.
08:53Now, mining locations, you know, ArcCorp mining, Shubin mining, it doesn't matter.
08:59If you see that there's a mining location, that typically means that there's landing pads where you can actually pull
09:05ground vehicles.
09:06So like if you want to grab a Dragonfly or a Nox or something like that, you can get it.
09:11You can drive around.
09:13So, you know, that's kind of the general rule.
09:15There's various spots.
09:16Just know that if you see an emergency shelter, check it out.
09:19It's cool.
09:19It looks nice.
09:20But there's not a whole lot you can actually end up doing there.
09:41So as we're approaching this outpost, you're going to notice that we're just now able to actually see it.
09:46They are very small, which means it's very hard to actually identify from a long distance out.
09:52So you really want to utilize those markers and the spots on the planet to actually get to the surface.
10:01So here we are at an emergency shelter.
10:03You can see it's very simple.
10:04It's basically one building and it's designed to be here in case like you run out of oxygen and you
10:09need to get to a location.
10:11But there is really not much that you can do here.
10:14So we'll get you close.
10:15And there's basically your first look at it.
10:17So I'm going to go ahead and cap off this video.
10:20And then basically what I'm going to do next is I'll take us over to a mining location where I
10:25will pull a, you know, a dragonfly and show you how to do that.
10:28So stay tuned.
