00:17Hey guys, JJ here, and today I would like to make our biggest announcement to date.
00:21The Residence of Evil is getting its very own game.
00:24In this video I would like to explain some details on our upcoming game and answer some of your questions.
00:29So with that being said, let's get right into it.
00:32Residence of Evil, The Game, will be developed by the incredibly talented Moonglin.
00:36With over 10 years of development experience, Moonglin has been creating stunning environments and recreations of games utilizing the Unreal
00:43Engine.
00:43Moonglin had begun work on his very own Resident Evil fan game titled Untold Stories.
00:48I was so impressed with his work, I contacted him with an idea that myself and the ROW team had
00:53been working on for our very own game.
00:55Being longtime fans of the survival horror genre, it was very important to us that our game had all the
01:00elements of what made a classic survival horror game so great.
01:04Atmosphere, mystery, tension, horror, puzzles, fixed camera angles, and much more.
01:08We wanted to include all these things in our game.
01:10Moonglin liked our idea and had a similar passion for survival horror.
01:14He offered to be the developer for Residence of Evil, The Game.
01:17Residence of Evil, The Game, or The ROW Game for short, will feature an all-original story with its own
01:22cast of characters based off the real-life ROW team.
01:25The entire team will be playable in different parts of the game.
01:28There will be multiple locations for the player to explore, puzzles, and hidden rooms to find, and will include a
01:33wide variety of enemies to defend yourself against.
01:35While we don't have an official release date tied down just yet, we will be sure to keep you guys
01:40updated in future developer videos, Q&As, and livestreams of the game when we get further into development.
01:45When I started The Residence of Evil, I wanted it to be a home for fans of Resident Evil and
01:50Classic Survival Horror, a community of like-minded individuals to come together, share their experience, and meet with fellow fans
01:56and make new friends.
01:57This is going to be a game for fans by fans, a collective project between us all, and that's why
02:02we'll be releasing this game completely free to PC.
02:05There are no plans for a console release yet, but depending on how well-received this game is, this could
02:09mean a lot of big things to come in the future.
02:11This is a dream come true for us, and it's all thanks to the support from you guys.
