01:09How does it feel to come out and how this love, other artists show you so much love?
01:14It's beautiful, you know, like we do things from the heart and I think this industry is
01:19pretty heavy but I think we have to work more inside of who we are as a person so I think
01:24it's people that really f*** with that.

01:32A lot of energy on the stage, very colorful because of bubbly and too much fashion.
01:39You separate your new album and you reconnected with like kind of the old song a little bit.

01:50It was mixtape, you know, just like dropping songs that I like that I don't know what I
01:54have to keep them in the studio.
01:55So, the album will come soon but no hurry.

01:58And the last question about Bunny this summer.
01:59Does he revolutionize with the residency as Latino gang?
02:00Yeah.
02:01Your opinion on what he did and are you going to do that for Colombia because I would love
02:08to see him?
02:09Yeah, I mean, you know, I'm happy for him.
02:11I'm proud that what he has done, of course, and including all, especially all the OGs
02:16and all the new artists from Puerto Rico.
02:18I think the concept of La Casita is pretty cool.
02:20You know, like taking the region of, you know, they're Puerto Ricans.
02:23They know more than me, you know, but.
02:25Straight from the island.
02:26I mean, you know, it's something beautiful, you know, what he's doing for the culture,
02:30especially he's that Bunny, somebody that represents Puerto Rico like 100%, you know,
02:35like he's real, he's real connect with the culture of Puerto Rico.
02:39So, he wanted to bring something.
02:41He said, if people want to see me come to the island, see where I'm from, see what I'm
02:46made of, see my people, connect with my people.
02:49That's what he really wanted to do, I feel like, with this concept.
02:52He wanted people from outside to come to the island and connect with the people and see
02:56what the island offers.
02:58He did an amazing job.
02:59And speaking of Latin icons, Ricky Martin is getting honored tonight.

03:33What's a favorite memory that you've ever shared?
03:34Like in the studio or a story that sticks out in your mind?
03:40Um, I would say that like, you know, I think people think records that are big as like the Mariah records, they take a long time.
03:47But like we belong together took six hours.
03:48And I don't think she ever really, she only gave me six hours.
03:49That's all we had.
03:50And I had to work and do what we had to do in that little time frame to get that record
03:54done.
03:55So.
03:56What is in that six hours?
03:57What's going on in that studio?
03:58That must be like smoke coming out of your ears.
03:59Oh yeah.

04:01But I'm saying at the same time Mariah is, you know, she's a beast in the studio.

04:34Why did you name it that?
04:35You live in Magic City?

04:42Well, that's cool too, but oh yeah, no.

04:45That's called Magic City because I have a documentary right now that's on Starz.
04:48Um, Magic City strip club documentary that's on Starz.
04:51Um, it's a five part series.
04:53Um, it comes on every Friday night on Starz.
04:56Um, and my album is just the base.
04:59It was going to be a soundtrack, but it turned into Jermaine Dupree album inspired by the Magic
05:04City documentary.

05:07What can we expect on it?
05:08A lot of ass shaking.

05:12What keeps you inspired all these years?
05:14Um, um, just being good, I guess.

05:19Billboard just named me number one producer of hip-hop and R&B of the 21st century.
05:23So, how could I stop?
05:24What do you think of this whole AI movement, by the way, being a music producer?
05:27I don't.
05:28I don't think of it at all.
05:29I don't, you know.
05:30I don't think an AI producer could be me.
05:33So, I don't know.
05:34Yeah.
05:35No, definitely.
05:36Well, I'm so glad you're keeping the hits coming.
05:37It's so nice to meet you.
05:38All right, well, you're obviously here for such a special moment tonight.
06:00You're honoring Ozzy.
06:01What does that mean to you?
06:02Listen, that means everything, especially my 15-year-old self as a guitar player coming
06:06up and listening to rock and metal.
06:08He was a godfather to us.
06:09You know, he started it in the early 70s.
06:11And that's how rock became heavier and heavier.
06:14And for him, what he did with Black Sabbath and then be out of there and have a whole other
06:18career as Ozzy Osbourne, the solo artist, and then be a reality star after that.
06:22This guy's affected culture in a way and touched everybody in so many different ways.
06:26So, it means everything, especially having been part of it in Birmingham just a month ago
06:30now maybe, and going up and performing and actually talking to him and saying goodbye.
06:34We didn't know.
06:35I mean, we knew it, but we didn't know it, you know, and so that was really special.
06:38I was going to ask you about that.
06:39You were there for Ozzy's final show.
06:41Such a special moment.
06:42First of all, how did you get the call to be a part of that?
06:44What did that mean to you?
06:45Well, Sharon, you know, when I was 15 and his guitar player passed in a bad plane accident
06:51in like 1982 or 81, I believed when I was 14 that I was going to replace him.
06:56And there was an ad to send a cassette in.
06:58Yeah, 1900, a cassette.
06:59So, I did.
07:00I put a cassette together at 15, send it in.
07:02This is my gig.
07:03I'm going to get it.
07:04Of course, nobody ever called.
07:05Cut to 12 years later.
07:06I'm opening for Aerosmith with Xtreme in London, and my book in his company with Sharon just
07:11called.
07:12Ozzy wants you.
07:13He wants you to be in the band.
07:14And this is like 1995, 1996.
07:16And I said no.
07:17And I said no.
07:18And the last thing Ozzy said.
07:19Is that like your biggest regret ever?
07:21Probably.
07:22I was in a band that we were just up and coming with Xtreme and we had hits up.
07:25But the last words we said to each other when we took the big group photo and I was at
07:29his feet.
07:30I grabbed his hand saying thank you for everything and thank you Ozzy for what you mean to me.
07:33And he pulls me in by the hand and he goes, you are the only guitar player who said no
07:38to me.
07:39Were those the last words he said?
07:41The last words.
07:42But he laughed.
07:43He goes, I love you.
07:44And he laughed.
07:45He goes, thank you for being here to honor him.
07:46I was like, thank you.
07:47I said thank you for everything.
07:48How special to be a part of that show.
07:50What was the energy like for those of us that weren't there?
07:53Just describe the feeling and just everybody in the room.
07:56Like what did it feel like to take the stage with him?
07:58Yeah, you know what really, really, really blew my mind is that when you get Guns N' Roses
08:02and Metallica, the biggest bands in the world to come together to do something.
08:06I've been part of those things before, you know, tributes.
08:08And it's always like everybody's egos, they're rock stars.
08:11All of a sudden, every member of every band is in the same room.
08:14It was like heavy metal summer camp.
08:16We were all a bunch of kids again because like Ozzy was like our dad or our godfather,
08:20like you guys behave.
08:21But everybody put the egos at the door.
08:23It was a hug fest.
08:24There was so much love.
08:25And you could feel it on that stage.
08:27There was no, nobody was complaining and everybody was just helping each other out and supporting
08:31each other.
08:32And that, I haven't seen that.
08:33I've been doing this for 40 years.
08:34I've never seen that on a tour anywhere else where everybody was just like a big community.
08:37And big rock family.
08:40That was what, and that's what Ozzy does to everybody for us, you know.
08:43That's so beautiful that he had such a beautiful send off.
08:46And you're taking the stage tonight with other rock legends, right?
08:49From Aerosmith, Joe Perry and Steven Tyler.
08:52What have rehearsals been like to be with their company and take the stage with them?
08:56And what can you tease?
08:57Listen, not only asked to be playing guitar on it, but to be music director for the whole thing.
09:02It was like, I had to, you know, pull these guys in together.
09:05And like we said, for Ozzy, let's do this for Ozzy.
09:08We know there's Aerosmith is iconic.
09:09We know Youngblood is an incredible up and coming artist.
09:12That's probably going to take over the world.
09:14It seems like, cause he's so incredible, but you know what?
09:16We got to do this for him.
09:18So let's put our egos down and we pull together and his beautiful, like harmonies and vocals
09:23going to happen.
09:24And we're going to like blow the roof off the place in the beginning.
09:26But I think there's going to be some tears in the end.
09:28I'm so excited.
09:29And now Sharon and Kelly and Jack, do you know, are they coming today?
09:32We're going to be expected.
09:33We're not sure, but I think there'll be some surprises up on the screen at least, you know.

15:19excited to share the stage um and to her being such a big tiktok star and stuff are you incorporating
15:24like any tiktok type dances what can we expect I think one of the reasons she's doing Dancing
15:30with the Stars is to do something different so obviously she's bringing her you know takes our
15:36community for the along for the journey but she's uh you know I want to teach her proper ballroom
15:42dance I think that's what's exciting for me is to introduce her fans uh to the world of ballroom
15:47dancing so for week one like anything you can tease at all anything I mean if you want me to
15:52you know stay on the show and not get fired then no I can't no I feel like they love you they would
15:58never let you go you and Jenna are amazing what do you feel about Jenna's partnership you think that
16:02they have a good chance yeah I think I mean look I think everybody has a chance I think everyone
16:07brings different strengths to the show I think Corey is a legend that in itself is going to gravitate a
16:12lot of people to him and I think people will be really surprised the type of job that Jenna can do with
16:18any partner who do you think might be like the dark horse and who do you think might be like the
16:23biggest competition this year no I think Corey is my dark horse and um the biggest competition I mean
16:32it's a stacked cast it's crazy so it's okay so I saw online some people well Hilara Baldwin she just
16:38that poor woman controversy follows her a little bit and people were like oh she's got dance experience
16:43she's done ballroom like is that does she get an unfair advantage I think at the stage of where the
16:50show is at I mean my instinct wants to make a case for why that that that can be true uh but at the
16:58same time our show is going into season 34 like we've seen so much talent some capable uncapable some
17:05uh had dance experience some didn't you know it's been a plethora of every single artist performer out
17:12there I think her ballroom experience gives her an advantage in some ways and a disadvantage in others
17:17I mean that truly I think one of the biggest things that uh one of the things that I think
17:24all people gravitate to is a element of surprise and b seeing somebody grow uh if she's already
17:32mastered that craft there's nothing there to follow and so I hope she's still got room to grow
17:39I'm sure she does yeah no that's an interesting perspective for sure and so we're obviously at
17:43the vm we're having I can't use that we're at no it's good no I like no it really is actually
17:50um we're at the vmas tonight though so who are you most excited to see everybody I've never been to
17:56the vmas yeah and it's right here you're gonna be looking at the choreo and like judging on stage
18:01yes I'm gonna be looking at the choreo and being inspired I'm I you know I came to the carpet with
18:08my friend Anthony from Queens we're in Queens I think not Long Island right I'm from New York so
18:15just to be here and to be at the vmas a show I grew up watching is pretty crazy for me uh but
18:22yeah I'm inspired by all the characters it's definitely fun right yeah it's a lot of fun
18:27hey Taylor it's so nice to meet you you look absolutely stunning I mean the ads are abbing
18:45today what's your secret to this like fitness routine you look amazing um consistency consistency
18:52is the secret okay I love it give us a little bit more about that how often do you work out
18:58um I try to do something every day um but it just makes me feel good mentally and physically obviously
19:04boxing is my new obsession at the moment I was gonna ask you like what kind of working out you
19:09like to do boxing okay would you ever do like a little match um I'm trying to work up to that
19:14honestly yeah oh my god you're like a woman of all trades I love it well I secretly want to be
19:19Buffy the Vampire Slayer so I'm like well I'll just try to do that in real life there I think
19:23they're doing like a comeback right are you interested at all and being part of that I'm so
19:28excited about it and honestly I I don't know but I gotta I gotta make some calls about that let's put
19:33it that way what else are you working on that you can tell us about well we just released a new
19:37single it's called for I am death um and that's out right now with the video and I'm incredibly proud
19:43of it incredibly excited that it's out and that is just the very beginning of what's to come
19:47um I keep saying the next 12 months in the pretty reckless world is going to be absolutely insane
19:52so stay tuned well as a fan of rock and roll I love that you're keeping rock alive because we need
19:58that these days and tonight obviously there's a big Aussie tribute so how do you feel about that are you
20:03excited I'm so I'm honestly I'm so excited it's it's what I'm here for like I'm so I can't wait to see
20:09it Aussie is so important to me Black Sabbath is so important to me and what I do and I can't wait
20:15I'm very excited that they're doing that tonight did you ever have the pleasure to like run into
20:18him or see him at a show um I never had the pleasure of meeting Aussie but his music is so ingrained in
20:24my psyche and being that I feel like I I feel like I know him and I do know the family so I'm looking
