00:09March Madness time.
00:10We're going to talk more St. John's basketball.
00:13They're fresh off back-to-back Big East tournament title wins.
00:16Also back-to-back Big East regular season titles.
00:19And now the Johnnies, they are the fifth seed in the East.
00:22A little bit lower than I expected and some other people expected.
00:25Thought the Johnnies could at least get a four.
00:27Seems like the committee didn't do them any favors.
00:30Their first matchup will be on Friday against 12-seed Northern Iowa.
00:34That's a very interesting matchup.
00:36Tough team.
00:37And then you got to look at what could come after that for the Johnnies.
00:39They beat Northern Iowa.
00:40They could play Kansas.
00:42Then you still got Duke, the number one seed in the region.
00:45And also UConn, a two-seed in the region.
00:47This is where it doesn't seem fair for the Johnnies.
00:49They get the five-seed.
00:50They beat UConn two out of three times this season.
00:54And they get put in the same region as UConn and Duke.
00:57And they don't even get a top four seed in the region.
01:00However, if you've seen anything about St. John's over the last couple of years,
01:04and particularly this year, where I think they're better slated to make a tournament run,
01:08is that they've got resilience.
01:10They've got grit.
01:11They've got toughness.
01:12Led by Zubi Ejiofor.
01:14We've seen it time and time again.
01:16UConn blew them out in the second meeting of the season by 30 points.
01:19St. John's said, uh-uh, none of that.
01:22Came back, and they dominated UConn in the Big East Tournament Final.
01:26This is a team that has a fantastic front line.
01:28They can bring the physicality.
01:30And we'll see if they're able to do it.
01:32St. John's, they've got a good chance to make a deep run.
01:34It's not going to be easy, but we'll see if they can get it done in March.
