00:00There are hundreds of thousands of Qantas customers who are covered by this class action
00:04and the process from here will be that all of those people will receive a notice about the settlement
00:09and they'll have an opportunity to come forward and claim their share of the $105 million.
00:14The settlement is arising from the claims that were made in the class action
00:18which were largely about people being held out of money.
00:22And so the amount that people are entitled to depends on things such as
00:25how much they paid for their flights in the first place
00:27and how long they were held out of money
00:30either before they used a credit or ultimately received a refund.
00:34The exact amounts people will get will depend on the registration process
00:37because the more people that come forward, the more people share in the $105 million.
00:43So these are not individually gigantic sums but they're meaningful sums
00:49particularly at a time when people are doing it tough.
