A man who killed the man accused of sexually assaulting his daughter could become sheriff.

Aaron Spencer, 37, won the Republican primary to become sheriff of Lonoke County, Arkansas, receiving 53.5% of the vote on March 3. But the father of three is still awaiting trial on a second-degree murder charge.
