00:52Growth has been strongest from India and China, up 40-fold and 24-fold respectively,
00:58while arrivals from Turkey have tripled.

03:53The country is expanding its specialized cancer treatment capacity.
03:58Six radiotherapy centers and 19 endoscopy units
04:01have opened with upgrades completed at 17 oncology centers.
04:06Last year, Казахстан became the first in Central Asia
04:09to launch proton therapy,
04:11marking a major milestone in regional cancer care.
04:16Gulnara Shakenova, who has been diagnosed with brain cancer,
04:20has begun treatment at the National Research Oncology Center's
04:23newly opened proton therapy unit in Astana.
04:26The facility delivers highly targeted treatment
04:28designed to attack tumors with precision
04:30while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.
04:33At the early stage of her therapy sessions,
04:36she says she remains hopeful.
04:56Kazakhstan has become the 25th country in the world
04:59to offer proton therapy to cancer patients.
05:01The facility operates the high-tech ProBin 360 system,
05:05incorporating technology from the United States and Sweden.
05:08It has the capacity to treat up to 1,000 patients annually.
05:12The IAEA mission was here this January,
05:16checking what we have here,
05:18what kind of infrastructure, the staff, the professionals, and so on.
05:22So we hope that in the coming years,
05:26we will become the anchor center.
05:28It's like a regional center in Central Asia
05:31who help IAEA to educate the countries around us.
05:38By expanding cancer care,
05:40Kazakhstan is strengthening its position
05:41as a regional medical hub.
