On 13 March, explosions were heard in the central part of Dubai, near Burj Khalifa, shaking nearby buildings and sending a plume of black smoke rising over the central district. In a statement shared on social media X, Dubai’s Government Media Office said debris from an intercepted strike had hit a building in the city’s central area. As of 12:30 PM IST, no casualties were reported. Police have since sealed off the surroundings, while the affected building is said to have suffered considerable damage
