00:00Ciao! Ciao, cara mia!
00:02Yeah.
00:10Life doesn't always take you where you think you should go.
00:16But it has a way of leading you to where you should be.
00:20What can we learn from Baby Turtles?
00:25What can we learn from Baby Turtles?
00:28I would say that we did a great job because we only shoot once.
00:36The liberation of the turtles.
00:38Yeah, just to clear that thing.
00:42We liberated real turtles like us.
00:44Yeah, we liberated.
00:45We actually did free those.
00:46And that analogy between the turtles and Maximo's life,
00:52I think is incredible because it's true.
00:57It's like a childish way of telling that thing.
01:03But it's very funny how it's related.
01:08We are all turtles and we are facing new obstacles.
01:17And sometimes we want to get back, but the thing is to go straight.
01:23And sometimes the wave may change our path.
01:28I love that thing.
01:29We're all turtles.
01:31We are all turtles.
01:33Baby Turtles.
01:34Oh my gosh.
01:36I forgot about the Baby Turtles.
01:37I cried during that.
01:39What can we learn?
01:40They're resilient.
01:42They're resilient.
01:42And if they can dodge the seagulls, they will find a way into that ocean.
01:48That was such a sweet moment.
01:50I agree.
01:51It's the same thing.
01:55Well, that scene is maybe the most moving scene for me, but for many reasons.
02:06First of all, I've never experienced the releasing of the Baby Turtles in my life.
02:10But a little inside secret, my six-year-old daughter Gemma is an extra in the scene.
02:19And so when I was giving that speech, she's the little girl on the beach watching.
02:25And had a baby turtle.
02:28And everyone there did in fact release a baby turtle.
02:33Yeah.
02:34And so, you know, it was one of the most exciting things that she's ever done.
02:39And so it was life and my work coming together of watching my daughter have this amazing experience.
02:46And working in the scene and also being moved by the actual experience.
02:51And yes, Baby Turtles have a lot of meaning in our home now.
02:57I'm not in the scene, but I was there watching because it was so moving and emotional.
03:01I think what you can learn is to never give up.
03:04Ah, what a beautiful question.
03:07What can we learn from Baby Turtles?
03:10Oh, my God.
03:12Wow, what a beautiful metaphor and question.
03:15I think that was one of the most beautiful scenes ever.
03:19Because in the first season, we have that for real in the hotel.
03:22They released the Baby Turtles.
03:24And the creators of the show, the showrunners.
03:26And I think that inspired, they were inspired because they lived that for real.
03:33We lived that and we shared that.
03:34And they included it in the second season.
03:37And I think the metaphor, it's so beautiful because turtles as a species,
03:44they have many things since they, before they burn, that against their, to survive.
03:52You know, in order to survive, they have to confront many, many challenges.
03:58Since they are inside the egg, in order to survive.
04:02All the depredators, everything is against them.
04:05So, from 100, there's just 0.1% of turtles that survive.
04:12It's very important.
04:13And also, there's another detail about turtles, which is very, very important.
04:17That you cannot see that in the series, but it's important to know.
04:22It's mom and daughters, once they found each other in the ocean, like Sara and Nora,
04:27if they re-encounter, they never separate again.
04:32And they recognize themselves because of the tears or something about the smell of the secretions.
04:39So, yeah.
04:41You are really a turtle expert.
04:44Absolutely.
04:44I didn't know that.
04:45I cried when I saw that scene, because I love them so much.
04:49And they are, you know, they are vegan and they are, you know, so, I don't know.
04:55They are good.
04:56There's a very, very good species on the planet, so we have to take care of them.
05:04Well, the owner of the whitest ass in Mexico, please come to the front desk.
05:09Who's messing with the PA?
05:12Hey, not funny.
