Trascrizione
00:00Chi è il migliore pilota, Iceman o Maverick?
00:05Beh, questo film è Top Gun Maverick per una razza, quindi direi...
00:30Secondo lui lei ha ancora qualcosa da dare alla marina, che cosa non l'immagino?
00:36You play really good characters with an obsession, Weeplash, now your character here is obsessed with being a pilot.
00:46Do you believe that being obsessed with something is a good thing or not?
00:51I think it's all about balance.
00:53I think it's, you know, if you're able to kind of have a healthy relationship with it, sure.
01:03Then I think it's, you know, passion maybe is another word for it.
01:09Who doesn't like a little passion?
01:11I think it's good for cinema.
01:12I think when I've been lucky enough to play a couple characters that, yeah, have a goal in mind and
01:19the audience is aware of that goal.
01:21And I think that's what you like to watch them try and try and get it.
01:25Maverick tells Rooster, you've got this.
01:29How important is having in life someone that tells you that?
01:33I mean, I think it's important.
01:35I think especially in this film, Rooster is unsure of himself.
01:40He really is not 100% positive on his ability to kind of do this thing and to have a
01:49mentor like Tom.
01:53Even just the analogy of us filming this movie, to have Tom there at all times and just being available
02:01for everything.
02:02and him understanding how tough it was for us to do all this flying and to have him understand that
02:08as an aviator himself was, you know, immensely helpful.
02:14He also tells him, don't think, just do.
02:18Can we say that Maverick is also a little bit like a Jedi, like Yoda or Skywalker?
02:24Yeah, I think Tom, yeah, he's got it.
02:27He might, yeah, he's probably the closest thing to a Jedi we have in real life.
02:32He is like an icon.
02:33How much do we need icons, in your opinion?
02:36Uh, you know, I don't, I don't know, I think that it's, I think as an audience, it's been really,
02:44really, you know, great and for, for us to be able to have somebody like Tom, who is,
02:52he's, he's risking his life almost all the time.
02:56I mean, he would never tell you that because, because he, he puts so much training into everything that by
03:02the time he's filming it, everybody is, is very aware of, of, uh, the, the details of, of what's going
03:09on.
03:10So, I don't know.
03:11I, I, I think, I just, I hope he, he just keeps doing it forever because every time Tom's a
03:19part of a movie, you know that it's, it's going to be, it's going to be top notch.
03:24He doesn't, he doesn't do anything in the middle.
03:26In your opinion, what makes a good leader?
03:28Because your character is trying to find out what does it make it and, and Maverick wants his guys to
03:35survive.
03:35Instead, Jon Hamm's character wants simply to, uh, the mission to survive.
03:40So, in your opinion, what makes a good leader?
03:41Well, I think leading from the front is something that's, that's important.
03:48I think when you have somebody who's, who's leading you just, um, under, if, if they've been through that same
03:56thing, if they've been exactly where you are and now they're in this other spot, I, I think that helps,
04:01uh, that allows you to kind of, to really get behind them because they, they know exactly what you're going
04:07through.
04:07So I, I think, I think that's important.
04:09You are impartial, so you can answer that question.
04:12Who is the best, the better pilot, Iceman or Maverick?
04:17Well, this movie's Top Gun Maverick for a reason.
04:20So I'll say.
04:23Okay, thank you so much.
04:25Great work.
04:26You're amazing.
04:26Bye.
04:27We appreciate it.
