DOGE staffers were called to testify in a lawsuit alleging the agency used discriminatory methods when eliminating thousands of grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities. In a newly released deposition video, one staffer struggled to define “DEI,” saying only that he relied on language from President Donald Trump’s executive order targeting “diversity, equity, and inclusion” programs.
