00:01Non voglio dire che quello che è successo non sia stato traumatico, finire dove siamo
00:05finite, in mezzo al nulla, strappate via dalle vite che avevamo lasciato alle spalle.
00:16So, first of all, what do you like most of your characters and what you have in common
00:22with them?
00:23Well, my character, she's an animal lover, you know, she's an introverted person and
00:28she passionately loves people and I feel like I really resonate with that, you know, I
00:31have a few dogs myself and, you know, all the people around me, like, I love, like, more
00:36than anything in this world, so I feel like I resonate with her passion and, you know, her
00:41relationships with people.
00:42Yeah, I would say with Toni, one thing I admire so much about her is her fire and her tenacity.
00:50Yeah, it's really her passion and I think how I would, yeah, resonate with her is she,
00:56she will stand up for what she believes is right and it's very admirable.
01:03There's such a wide range of representation on the show and anyone who's, like, anyone could
01:11relate to these girls because they've, like, either been that at one point in their life
01:16or they've known it or they still know it or they have a daughter or they're, you know,
01:20and so with my character, I think that there's not a whole lot to her that I can relate to
01:28that's, like, story-driven but just I can relate to her having been a teenage girl in
01:35high school and knowing what that's like.
01:37I think what I have in common with Dot is I think in my own life I'm also very much
01:45a,
01:45very much a fixer. Sometimes I get quite obsessed with fixing things, whether that be
01:55actual objects or relationships. Thanks.
01:58I wouldn't say obsessed, though. I feel like that's got a negative connotation. It's, like,
02:02a good thing.
02:03Thank you. Yeah, I think I'm just, I am a little bit of a fixer in my own life and
02:10and found it really hard to find my group and people that I really fit in with and also
02:17just experiencing the joy of discovering that and finding people. It's just, like, one of
02:22the best feelings in the world and I feel like, yeah, it was amazing to go through that again
02:26through Dot. Yeah.
02:28What was, for you, the biggest challenge of this job?
02:32I mean, emotionally, it is, it was, it was very challenging, like, the stories they were
02:37telling and, um, I think there were differently, differently days, um, where, yeah, you really
02:42put yourself emotionally through a lot, but then also on the other side, physically, it's
02:46such a demanding environment. In that sense, just working at the elements, um, was a whole
02:53challenge in itself.
02:54Yeah, like, aside from, like, the terrain and the hard environment, there was still, like,
02:59that leap that, like, I had to make that connection with my character because, like, what she goes
03:03through, I have never been through, so, you know, the whole time I'm just, like, I'm
03:07hoping I'm doing it justice and, you know, just trying to bring her to life the best I
03:11can.
03:11How did you work on the set to build the complex relationships between the girls?
03:18Uh, we didn't do it, we didn't take any, like, specific measurements towards it, but
03:22we didn't really have to. Um, I think we all just got really lucky with the cast, everyone,
03:28and I think that this kind of project would draw the same type of people, like, or the
03:35same, because we're definitely not the same, but we do have similar, um, morals, I could
03:41say, I guess, just, like, similar, like, subconscious foundational ideas or ideals that we want
03:50for the, for life, and I feel like we all sort of connected, um, on those similarities.
03:56Yeah. We got really close, yeah. Yeah, we did get very close. I feel like we were all
04:01just so itching to do it, and we all just really fell in love with the script. Yeah,
04:06it was quite easy. We all fit in together quite seamlessly. It was, yeah, it was amazing,
04:12actually. Yeah, it was, it was awesome. We had a lot of time together before set, as well
04:15as being on set to build close relationships. Um, Sarah Stryker and, um, Amy Harris organized,
04:21you know, karaoke nights for us all when we were close to know each other and stuff like
04:24that. Um, so when it came to being on set, it was, like, we were just such a close unit.
04:30Yeah. Like, just imagine, like, all your group of friends just showing up to where it gets,
04:33it can be funny, it can be easy, you know, it's challenging at the same time, like, it
04:37was great.
04:38What drew you to this project?
04:40It was a dream to work on, like, a female-centric project, you know? I, every, every industry
04:45in the world is still so male-run, that it's, like, especially, I feel like, especially
04:50the entertainment industry, and it's so rare to be able to do a project where it's not
04:56only just, like, starring women, but then there's also, you know, a heavy presence in
05:01production of, of, uh, women, and, um, we had all women directors, so it was, it was cool
05:07just to get that chance to work with only women, and I feel like, you know, the second I stepped
05:14on set, like, all of my assumptions about what it would be like were sort of validated, because
05:20it was very freeing, and we had a lot of space.
05:24Yeah, I definitely think it's the exact same for me. It was super crazy getting the script
05:31from Sarah Stryker, and reading it, and just seeing how female it was, and I thought to
05:38myself, if I don't get this part, I'm really going to regret not telling this story and
05:44being a part of it. It's just so incredibly amazing to work with so many amazing, powerful
05:50women, and it was, yeah, really awesome.
05:53Do you have a favorite moment for your characters in this first season?
05:58Favorite moment would probably be her definitely coming out of her shell throughout the entire
06:03series. It's, you know, she's a really, there's, there's going to be scenes where you don't
06:08quite understand her, you don't, you know, you don't know why she's doing the things
06:11that she is until, you know, you get to her episode, and I feel like that was my favorite
06:15part about it.
06:16I think one of my favorite moments for Toni is, she gets a bit faced with herself, you
06:20know, she sees a bit of destruction that she's left behind, and yeah, facing that, and seeing
06:27how she overcomes that, I think.
06:29What will you bring with you from this experience?
06:33Definitely my emotional range. I find this role really, you know, gave me that
06:38strength to like, you know, pull out, you know, the range that I needed to even like
06:41go on to like other roles or like other stories to tell like this.
06:44Yeah, knowing, knowing that, um, that, that it can be challenging, that this job can be
06:49challenging, and life can be challenging, and, um, when it's six months intensive, you get
06:55through it, and you can do it.
06:57Okay, thank you so much.
06:59Lovely talking to you.
07:00Bye.
07:01Thank you.
07:02Thank you.
07:03Bye.
07:03Bye.
07:04Bye.
07:05Sua figlia ha fatto un passo indietro da un buio precedenzio.
07:09Ci sentiamo molto in colpa per averle mentito.
07:12L'avete fatto per salvarla.
07:14I feel broken.
