00:29This is like my dream because out of all the characters I think in the School of Forgetting
00:32Evil series, the fans and the readers sort of all around the world are the most possessive
00:37and in love with the coven.
00:39Well, no pressure.
00:42So when was the first time you actually like laid eyes on each other?
00:45Once we came here, we were all out in the little green area out in front of the hotel.
00:50I saw you guys and I fell in love.
00:52I fell in love with you too.
00:54It was instant.
00:55So it was instant.

00:56So when you read the School of Forgetting Evil on a page and you read the witches, could
01:01you feel themselves in the characters?
01:03Yes.
01:03A hundred percent.
01:04Yeah.
01:05Hester has a very, very specific kind of energy that which made it hard for us to find
01:10the Hester.
01:11You got her though.
01:12You got her.
01:12Oh, I know we got her.
01:15When you read her, were you like, oh, this is it?
01:18This is me?
01:18I think it took me a little moment to sort of tap into that part of me that was there
01:24bubbling underneath.
01:26I just had to access it.
01:27I remember the first time they sent me some shots of, I think it was just you alone.
01:32It was in your camera test and your makeup test.
01:35And they just sent me, they didn't even send me a video.
01:37They were just sending pictures.
01:39And I was like, I'm scared.
01:42What happens when you turn into Hester?
01:45Do you have to, do you have to flick a switch or is there some like, do you feel like
01:48something
01:49come over you?
01:50That camera test was actually really helpful because I like working with movement and I
01:54felt like this job compared to anything I've done before was a really good chance to
01:59kind of work with, with physicality.
02:03So doing that camera test and just like walking down the corridor and walking around the classroom
02:07was so helpful.
02:09She's all there, you know, and as soon as you put on the costume, you're sort of there.
02:13And you're like 90% there.
02:14Caitlin, how about you and Dot?
02:15Because Dot really is a specific character.
02:17She is.
02:18Yeah.
02:19So how did you feel about reading her on the page and how you related to her?
02:22The thing that I related to most about Dot is like how mischievous she is.
02:25Like with the girls, these guys are evil just because they're evil.
02:31The Dot's got some, she's got a bit of evil, but she, she borders on the line, doesn't she?
02:36And I think like her evilness comes from a place of like mischief.
02:40She does everything because it's fun.
02:41So especially like being with the girls on set, like we are the little witch pack.
02:48With a coven.

02:50Yeah.
02:51And I think that's, she's a follower.
02:53Yeah.
02:53Of these guys.
02:54She's a follower.
02:55But everything she says is right.
02:57She's pretty smart.
02:57I know she comes across daft, but she's pretty smart.
03:01And then Anadol.
03:01I think to get into the mind of Anadol, I had to see the rats because they're her babies.
03:07At first when I met the rats, I was really kind of nervous about it.
03:09I was like, oh, I don't know if I can do this.
03:11I hope I'm not allergic.
03:13And then I naturally just have this bond where I rock them.
03:16Like I rocked us to their baby.
03:18So I was just like, oh my God, I've really turned into Anadol.
03:21It's like no feelings, no nothing, nothing except when she has her rats.
03:25Then you see like a love inside her, you know?
03:28And I think also when she's with the girls, it's like, ha ha, everything's funny.
03:32But then when she's with other people, it's like, don't talk to me unless you have something valuable to say.
03:36because you're irrelevant to me.
03:40That's a little.
03:41What clicked it for you in your specific costume and hair?
03:45Did one of you feel like it was a costume?
03:46One of you feel like it was a hair?
03:49What physically attracted you to the character on set?
03:51I think it's when we're together.
03:53It's not more.
03:54Because when you're in costume, you can be in costume in your trailer or you can have your hair and
03:58makeup done in your trailer.
03:59But you're just there and you're like, this is just another day in the office, boys.
04:02Because then when you're on set, I've got my big rat, you've got your chocolate, you've got your dagger, you've
04:10got your demon on your neck.
04:11And then it's like, we look at each other, it's almost like we look at each other and we go,
04:14here we are.
04:14We have each other.
04:16So Hester's famous for her tattoo, her very scary tattoo.
04:19So what can people expect?
04:22Better than you can ever imagine.
04:24I was so impressed with the designs of it.
04:27They got a tattoo artist to design it and it's just so cool.
04:31And it's a lot bigger than I expected.
