01:42in search of diaposità di l'adito.
01:44E la donna è sempre trovata di altri persone che si tratta di riempire
01:48la prima analizzazione con l'onore.
01:50As we were researching the film, we met with a lot of people who grew up with a legend, you
01:56know.
01:56And everybody, everybody in Latin, everybody who's Latin knows about La Llorona.
02:05It's been really fun for me to be able to work with Michael and have it be such a collaboration.
02:11He's always open to ideas. We're always going back and forth and things are always changing.
02:14So making sure that we're both okay with how things are going and it's been a really, I would say,
02:22creative and, I don't know if I want to use the word organic because it gets overused.
02:28But it's been a really easy and fun creative relationship.
02:33Linda plays Anna in the film and she's a social worker and a single mother.
02:38And, you know, in the story we always wanted an outsider. We always wanted someone who had not grown up
02:43with the myth.
02:44And so they're coming at it from a place of discovery because I think that that is, it's a fun
02:49place to be in.
02:50Whenever you're discovering something in a movie, that is, you know, that's a great place to be.
02:54Working with Linda is, it's a pleasure because Linda shows up.
02:59Oh my God, she has so many different choices about what she's going to do in the film.
03:05And, you know, she has this part, she has this woman who is basically out of control.
03:11She's at the mercy of, of everything that is going on around her, of the supernatural occurrence, of being visited
03:19by this evil presence.
03:21And then this evil presence, La Llorona, going after her children.
03:25And then she has no, no understanding as to exactly what's happening to her.
03:29So she's kind of just a woman caught in the eye of a tornado.
03:33And La Llorona.
03:34She's coming.
03:35She's already here.
03:43Raymond is awesome.
03:44You know, one of the things that I definitely wanted with Raphael is I wanted a character that was dangerous.
03:50Someone that you weren't sure if you could trust because that is one of the leaps of faith that Anna
03:54takes in the movie.
03:56And I think it's also fun for, you know, to have that type of character in a movie.
04:00So going into it, one of the things that I loved about Raymond is his, is Tuco.
04:06Tuco from Breaking Bad.
04:08You know, that's a character.
04:09And this is, this is definitely not Tuco.
04:10But there was an element of that wildness, that danger, that recklessness that I thought that, you know, he really
04:16captured there.
04:17And he brings in elements of that, that kind of dangerous quality.
04:21He's fun.
04:21He's really fun to work with.
04:23You know, and I've watched him for so long.
04:24It's really fun to have a chance to work with him, and he's perfect for the part.
04:37James is the best.
04:38I have been a fan of James for years.
04:40And so to have an opportunity to collaborate with him, to work with him, was a dream come true.
04:45He is an amazing director and an incredible producer.
04:48And he was just great and so insightful at every step of the process.
04:53You know, when we're developing the script, you know, he had such, you know, great insights and specifics into what's,
04:59what's the story about?
05:01And really, you know, what is the story that you, you really want to tell and what do audiences really
05:05want to see?
05:06And, you know, when we were making the monster as you were developing it, you know, this was, it was
05:11a dream come true.
05:11You know, that's like, you know, you're working with one of the best monster makers that exists today.
05:17He's created so many iconic monsters from so many iconic movies.
05:20To be able to bounce ideas off of him and just, you know, you know, work with him was, it
05:26was so cool.
05:27I think audiences are just going to like how, I mean, this movie, once it starts to scare you, which
05:31happens pretty immediately,
05:33it doesn't really let up from what we have, what we have going so far.
05:37So I think that that's going to be a really fun adrenaline rush.
05:41The idea of it doesn't really slow down for a second and give you a moment to breathe.
05:47Yeah!
05:49Yeah!
06:09Grazie per la visione!
