Truck Straps Pulled Into Service During River Rescue

The filmer, Mayfer, told WooGlobe, "I'm a truck driver, and I was on that route when the minivan that later fell into the river overtook me in a no-passing zone. There was a curve just a few meters ahead, and the driver did not have enough time to return to his lane. He collided with a Toyota RAV4, which caused the accident, and the minivan ended up in the river. As soon as the crash happened, I arrived at the scene and provided my truck straps and rope to a police officer. He used them to help rescue the two survivors from the van."
