00:02It's exciting to work with her, you know, on a day-to-day basis when we're on set and she's
00:06playing the character.
00:07I mean, she just kind of is that character, and she's always surprising, you know, to watch perform.
00:15You know, she just has amazing instincts. She's really good at her job.
00:17She's really, really good at being Katniss, and so it's just, you know, been a pleasure.
00:25Josh is, you know, he's a great actor, really smart guy, really good guy.
00:30It's been great to work with him.
00:32I think Mockingjay Part II presented him with some really interesting challenges.
00:37I think that he had to do things that he really hadn't had to do before, kind of in any
00:42of his performances, in anything he's done.
00:45And so, you know, he and I really had fun kind of pushing him to places he hadn't been.
00:51And so he does some really great, I think, exciting things in this movie.
00:56One of the things that I'm really excited about this movie is that it's actually, it's the conclusion.
01:00And I remember, you know, even on set feeling it when shooting certain scenes, that you feel the, you know,
01:06sort of now the history that these characters have built up for themselves and with each other going through the
01:12course of these four movies.
01:14And when you get to the last half hour, I think people really will feel the full history.
01:21And it's very, very satisfying and very emotional.
01:24And I'm really happy about that.
01:26I think thematically this is the movie where all the ideas that have been building up throughout the course of
01:31the movies and stories really sort of all come to a head.
01:36And we really get to sort of live in those themes, you know, and the idea of the consequence of
01:42war and the consequence of violence and the decision to go to war and how war is never easy.
01:47And the ideas of who's good and bad in war is often, you know, much more gray than people would
01:53like to think.
01:55I feel very lucky to have been invited in and to be a part of these movies and to be
02:01embraced by the fans of the movies and the books.
02:05I'm really happy that the fans have really enjoyed the movies that I've made, the adaptations of these books.
02:12But, you know, I just feel lucky.
02:15It's not often that a series of books connects to such a large audience and that people have the passion
02:20for them that this audience does.
02:23And so to be able to make movies about those books with this kind of cast has been an incredible
02:28experience.
02:30You get to look forward to seeing Katniss back in action, taking, you know, control of her life again and
02:38going after snow.
02:39And it's, you know, it's epic.
02:41There's a lot of action.
02:41It's very emotional.
02:43And it concludes.
02:44And so I think you can look forward to a very satisfying Hunger Games experience.
