00:14to the driver to the gunner to the site,
00:16and they each have to work together.
00:18There's a lot of, you know,
00:19working together for a common purpose.
00:21All tanks, start squirting that tree line.
00:23Let's light them up.
00:24Let's go, let's clean it up.
00:36It was our second day of filming,
00:38and so it was kind of perfect
00:39to start the movie with that
00:41and to have Logan, who's incredibly nervous
00:44because he knows that this film
00:46really rests on his back.
00:48And he's working with Brad Pitt,
00:50who's this huge, prestigious actor.
00:54Put your head in your hands, Norman.
00:57But they're bloody.

01:03You know, David does give us the freedom
01:05to go in certain, you know,
01:07different directions
01:08and kind of go off book a little bit.
01:10And we, you know, got to the point
01:12where we just knew the material so well.
01:14Every little section,
01:15every piece of the characters, you know?
01:17So, yeah, I guess we became more comfortable,
01:20you know, playing around.
01:22You know, I kind of tortured Logan a little bit.
01:23I had him run around and do push-ups
01:25and yelled at him a little bit,
01:27just to kind of shake him up.
01:28Norman, look at the SS.
01:29Look at the fight.
01:30You're watching the fight.
01:31Because he's supposed to be nervous,
01:33so why act nervous if you can make him nervous for real?
01:36Which is sort of my modus operandi as a director.
01:40Try and make it as real as possible.
