A US Navy aircraft has flown through the Taiwan Strait. US officials say it demonstrates the country's commitment to a “free and open Indo-Pacific.” The move comes ahead of a planned meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing later this month.
