00:00Hey, I'm Maggie Q, star of the upcoming action film Priest in 3D.
00:04Check out this cool animated prologue that sets up what my character faces in the movie.
00:17This is what is known.
00:21There has always been man.
00:27And there have always been vampires.
00:41Since the beginning, the two have been locked in conflict.
00:45The vampires were quicker, stronger.
00:48But that had the sun.
01:01It was not enough.
01:12So it went like this over many years.
01:16The two races destroying not only each other, but the world itself.
01:25Facing extinction, mankind withdrew behind walled cities under the protection of the church.
01:34And then the ultimate weapon was found.
01:38The priests.
01:46Warriors with extraordinary powers.
01:49Trained by the church in the art of vampire combat.
01:52They alone turned the tide for man.
01:59The remaining vampires were placed on reservations.
02:03And fearing the power of the weapon they created, the ruling clergy ordered the priests disbanded.
02:10The former warriors to be integrated back into a society that no longer needed them.
02:18And as the years passed, the few surviving priests, ostracized by the people they once protected, faded into obscurity.
02:28Like the vampire menace before them.
02:35They were prepared for planned for SEEK.
