00:04Where Arthur Max is truly wonderful is he's really into preserving all of these crafts in England.
00:12He's very passionate about the loss of skill base.
00:15They actually went to the length of populating the river area with coracle paddlers.
00:26Coracles are ancient little boats.
00:30Each one of them was completely authentic.
00:32So there were three guys working on the set who had all handmade their own coracles and were paddling around
00:36this beautiful big galleon.
00:40My favorite set on this one would have to be the Royal Dock because it was probably the most difficult
00:47on lots of levels.
00:48It was difficult in terms of getting permission because we're in a crown estate, a property of the Queen's estate.
00:55It's a royal park.
00:57It's a protected environment.
00:59It's an immaculate piece of nature.
01:02And we were going to build a jetty and build a continuation of the Tower of London that you see
01:08behind me.
01:09Dovetailed within ancient trees which if we had to prune a branch was a two-week negotiation.
01:19I would say this is going to be one of the last movies that they actually build the practical sets
01:24like they've built on this movie.
01:26You know, they just don't do it anymore.
01:33I would like to have lived in any one of the films I've made.
01:37You've got to want to occupy that space.
01:39And I think that's what's good because when I walk in a room and you feel the room,
01:43and the actor walks in the room and feels the room, I think it actually is a great proscenium for
01:47them.
01:48So I think it, you know, brings out things they hadn't thought of.
