01:27e nights and I you know the crew I expected to get tired but one night we
01:32had a dog who just refused to get up he was so tired he was like so done it was
01:35like four in the morning it was cold it was wet we had to get him to like lay
01:39down and he just refused so and he was a hundred and eighty pounds he was thirty
01:43pounds heavier than the trainer so the so we just we like waited for an hour
01:47while the trainer struggled to get this hundred and eighty pound dog up
02:00oh man I don't know if we had a diva we didn't I mean not really I mean the
02:08cats were a little bit tougher but there was there was no real diva not really I
02:13was the diva on set I guess
02:24I'm a big early Bond fan I grew up on Roger Moore's Bond I love the Sean
02:30Connery Bond era because of the kind of the tongue-in-cheek you know kind of
02:34jokey bits that are in there so that was a big influence just because I enjoyed it
02:39so much but what I try to do with the movie was borrow from every spy thing I
02:42love like I love the camera work in the born identity so on the fairy fight I
02:46was like let's do crazy handheld camera feel there's like nods to Mission
02:50Impossible I took all the spy movies that I really appreciated I was like I love the
02:55I want to flavor all of them I don't want to just take one I want to kind of
02:58flavor all of them I'm a little bit you know leaning towards Bond because again I
03:04grew up on it but but I try to use all of it
03:15across the board it was really fun to work with all of them they they brought
03:18a lot to their characters I mean it was really funny with that you know she came
03:22with lots of pictures of Kitty you know she really got into it and after a while
03:25you kind of they blended together like at one point you know Nick and I were doing
03:29a session and he's like you know I kind of look like him and after a while you
03:33just kind of associate the animals and the voices together what I try to do was
03:37cast voices that sounded really distinct because working in animation you
03:41basically have color shape and sound so I wanted to cast animals that all look
03:46very distinct and then try to come up with voices that sounded just as distinct
03:49so you get cat Williams as the pigeon sounds nothing like you know James
03:53Marsden as digs or Christina Applegate so I was really happy with getting the
03:57high quality of cast and also that every cast member has such a distinct sound
