00:27PENGUINS
00:30That's an incredible creature.
00:32There's very few animals
00:34that strike that chord in people
00:35That just immediately
00:37make you feel loved.
00:39It's really difficult to be unhappy
00:42around a penguin.
00:43They should just send some penguins to Wall Street.
00:47Just have them
00:48mill around down there.
00:49People don't jump off buildings and things.
00:52But yeah.
00:53It's really hard to be unhappy around a penguin.
00:55That's why I did this movie in the first place.
00:57Penguins are kind of an obsession with me.
00:59I really love them
01:00and I don't know what else
01:03I would rather work with
01:05animal wise
01:10Angela Lansbury
01:11one of the greats of all time
01:13such an incredible coup
01:15to get her to do this movie
01:16and I don't think she had done a film for a while
01:19so she was excited about it
01:20and she was right there
01:22I mean we're 4 o'clock in the morning
01:25dead on our feet
01:26and Angela's right there with us
01:29doing her thing
01:29and she was great in the movie
01:31so I was really stoked to be able to work with her
01:36the movie is about
01:38realizing what love
01:40and family is worth
01:42you know
01:42I mean we can beat our head against the wall
01:45and try all we want to strive in every area
01:47of our lives and try to
01:49accomplish great things
01:50but if your family isn't intact
01:53and your
01:55kids are running around not knowing
01:57you know how much you love them
01:59you know what is it all worth
02:00you lose the game
02:05the penguins make my life impossible
02:07in the movie
02:09you know
02:10thus destroying my trajectory
02:12toward greatness
02:14interrupting my flow
02:16and making me a real person
02:18when life happens to you
02:19when things happen that are uncomfortable
02:22you know
02:22at first it's always
02:24some unwelcome
02:25you know
02:26static
02:27and then you realize
02:28as you deal with it
02:30and you get through it
02:30oh wow
02:31I'm so glad that happened to me
02:32because it made me a real person
02:37I think the movie is going to be really special
02:39it really is
02:41I think it's one of my faves
02:42I really
02:43I think people are going to be
02:46not only entertained
02:47but touched by it
02:51some of the locations
02:52on this film
02:54were really special
02:55I mean New York City
02:56is a fantastic place
02:57to shoot anyway
02:58there's no bad angle
02:59in New York City
03:00I mean literally
03:01anywhere you put a camera
03:02is interesting
03:03and has depth
03:04and contour
03:05and characters
03:06and it's just incredible
03:08but this was particularly fun
03:11because we got to do
03:11the Flatiron Building
03:12we went to the Guggenheim
03:14we went to
03:14Tavern on the Green
03:15which has memories for me
03:17and it was all these really special
03:19specific New York locations
03:21that were just a blast
03:23to be around
03:24you know
03:24and I think people are going to love
03:26seeing those places
03:27and seeing what we do
03:28with those places especially
03:31during the worst winter
03:33in New York history
03:34we worked on stages
03:36that were 30 degrees
03:37so that the penguins
03:38would be comfortable
03:38so
03:40in fact it's so important
03:42to keep them comfortable
03:43because when they start to do this
03:47like that
03:48it means
03:49you know
03:49turn down the temperature
03:50you know
03:51so humans really don't matter
03:53at that point
03:54because you know
03:55you can't hurt a penguin
