00:02Signorina Monroe
00:03Marilyn non è pronta
00:05Scusa, ho una faccia orribile
00:07Quei pochi giorni in cui un mio sogno è diventato realtÃ
00:09The relationship between Marilyn and Collins starts at a place of
00:15It's that weird thing of being so distant from someone
00:17and yet having a sort of physical intimacy
00:19in the sense that Collins' job as a runner's job on a film set
00:23is to sort of be everywhere and everything to everyone
00:27and so consequently even though you're the bottom rung of the ladder
00:31you'll sort of have access to everything
00:34and perhaps have eyes everywhere
00:37which is an interesting scenario
00:39because you're the bottom of the hierarchy
00:41and yet you kind of have a lot of power
00:43because you have sort of knowledge
00:44It gets a more rounded perspective of the whole story of Marilyn Monroe
00:52It's just an amazing show
00:55and sort of demonstration of filmmaking at this period
00:59of a clash of two cultures
01:01of two completely different ways of working
01:05and thrown into the middle of it
01:07is this kind of wide-eyed
01:10naive, overly confident young man
01:16Within that context you have an amazing viewpoint
01:20on the world of making films
01:23but of this period of the 1950s
01:26and I think there has been a truth to the way it's been shot
01:31and designed in the sense of the places we've shot at
01:36that were real locations
01:37that members of the crew's parents worked on the job
01:40I mean there's a real kind of
01:42so hopefully that all comes across
01:43Signori, è con immenso piacere
01:46che vi presento a donna che chiaramente non ha bisogno di presentazioni
01:50I'm a huge admirer of her work
01:52I think she's a staggering actress
01:56and a really unique actress
01:58Both she and Ken Branagh is dumbfounding
02:01and seeing how meticulously she works
02:03through the movement, through the vocal
02:06through the dance, through the text
02:08I mean it's been riveting
02:10and it's been a complete treat
02:12she's an extraordinary actress
02:14and an extraordinary woman
02:16so it's been a lot of fun
02:19Vuoi che sia lei?
02:20Chi?
02:21Mary Lynn
