00:09Nine Dock in Portsmouth
00:12Naval Base.
00:13This is a used dock that they've never had filming before
00:16and today has been
00:17a logistical
00:19adventure.
00:23Huge amounts of equipment, cranes,
00:25water in the dock, water out the dock
00:27lots and lots of permissions, lots of red tape
00:29they're not used to having hundreds
00:31of people not wearing hard hats
00:33working in this environment
00:35or wading around in water
00:37and certainly not singing.
00:39Today there's about 160 extras
00:42all in the water
00:43and we've been laying hair in
00:45and having to dirty them up
00:47and this is our opening scene
00:49of the whole film
00:51really important for us to get the look right
00:53for everybody and quite a lot of research
00:56has been done by all the departments.
01:04Today we have
01:05multiple artists down in the dock
01:07simulating the pulling of the ship
01:10into the dock.
01:11We have cable assembly for pulling of the ropes
01:14as well as wind machines
01:16and wave machines,
01:18water tip tanks and rain.
01:23So, with all the elements together
01:25we've got a nice
01:26nice little effect sequence.
01:30and play back.
