00:05I suppose what's so appealing and addictive about the read, the book itself, the story,
00:15is in the title, which is Survivor.
00:21And the question of how does one survive the impossible is something that we all consider
00:32at some point in our life.
00:40If we look at a man who's put in a position, who's lost all his brothers and has two
00:48survive, and how do you do that, and what do you draw upon, and where do you draw strength
00:52from is an endless subject, because you can't break it down.
00:59It's not clear in the DNA at this point, as far as science is concerned, why some survive
01:04and why some don't.
01:14Axe, point man, and sniper.
01:20The point man will go out ahead of the team and find the path.
01:29And I just worked with the Mark 12 as a suppressor, a very efficient weapon.
01:37And it takes, I imagine, a certain personality type to be a sniper.
01:44The culture of the sniper is unique.
01:54It was a luxury training.
01:56Nothing better in the world.
01:58You have the guys who are best at teaching our greatest warriors coming in to train us
02:06in, like, movie camp.
02:10We're out in a gun range doing live fire, learning how to operate tactically as a unit, and you
02:16learn brick by brick.
02:22I didn't even know the names of the guns, the weapons, when we started, and by the end we're
02:28doing, you know, blind mag changes and doing live fire.
02:33I know that if I'm handed that, without a doubt, 300 yards is no problem.
02:40Just ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping.
02:44Knowing that, it serves you in a film.
02:47Knowing that you can do the thing, it takes the pressure off.
02:50Knowing that you can do the thing, it takes the pressure off.
02:58These are not superheroes, these are men.
03:07And they have to ask themselves a very difficult question.
03:12And they choose to let others go and put their own life in peril.
03:20And lives are lost.
03:22And on the flip side, one of ours is protected to the death by one of theirs.
03:36These are questions worth asking.
03:41It can be exciting, you can get your heart racing.
03:46But we approached it with as many professionals and specialists to make it as real as possible,
03:57and also entertaining.
04:00They are not running away.
04:02They are still running away.
04:05And there are many people to see in touch.
04:06They are not running away.
04:06Maybe it would be an adventure to the death by one of those.
04:06So, you can get it on the flip side.
04:06And they can go and do it on the flip side.
