00:05Hi, I'm Steve Martino, the director of the Peanuts movie.
00:10I'm going to show you how to draw our favorite little yellow Peanuts character, Woodstock.
00:17The secret to drawing Woodstock is to use long, continuous strokes.
00:21I start at his very top feather, come down around his beak,
00:24and remember that Woodstock has a very big head, about twice the size of his body.
00:31Don't be shy with your pen, be bold, just like Woodstock.
00:38Proportions are key. Woodstock's head and feathers make up about half of Woodstock.
00:44His body, wings, and feet make up the other half.
00:49Add on his little tail there.
00:53Now make a couple of lines for his bright little eyes.
00:56Last, and most importantly, draw that great big Woodstock smile.
01:08And that's how you draw Woodstock.
01:10We'd love to see your drawings.
01:12Share your pictures using hashtag drawwoodstock so we can find it.
01:19And if you want to see the Peanuts gang, check out the Peanuts movie in theaters.
