00:05Playing Sean is a real challenge
00:08because it's effectively a bit like a silent comedy really
00:11but that's my background
00:13I'm a huge fan of Stan and Ollie and Keaton and Chaplin
00:19so I try to put Sean's voice on that same page really
00:25but instead of using words
00:28we use a series of bars and expressions
00:36I've been providing the voice for Sean for about six years now
00:39so I remember the early scripts where you know you'd have Sean
00:43flying past holding onto a lawnmower
00:46so you experiment really with your voice
00:49I found that I kind of went with a kind of
00:53and you just experiment like that
00:55and you come up with the right sound
00:58and the vocal for each scene
01:01another example is Sean was playing football
01:04and was tackled quite hard
01:06so he had to kind of say
01:07oh referee
01:07but in a bar
01:09so you'd kind of go
01:10you know
01:12and it goes on
01:18when I first started I kind of
01:20I think my
01:21I'm sure the
01:21the bar
01:22the main bar
01:23the kind of
01:24was quite high
01:25but
01:26I think Sean has
01:28possibly grown up a tiny bit
01:30and is now a tad older
01:31so it's more of a
01:34but there's so many expressions
01:35you know for instance if Sean is sad
01:38it's
01:38there's a lot of like
01:41you know
01:42you can do the
01:43a little crying
01:43kind of
01:46but then of course
01:46Sean could be very happy as well
01:48with a giggle in the bar
01:50so it's more
01:52like that
01:55sounds crazy but
01:56yeah
01:57there's quite a lot to it
01:58yeah
01:59and in fact
02:00I also find that
02:01you know
02:02some of the scenes are very poignant as well
02:03and
02:04very little is needed
02:05but just a little tiny
02:07like a
02:07little gasp
02:08an intake of breath
02:09like a kind of
02:10you know
02:11and it just
02:12can set
02:13set the scene
