00:08cool company they are they said sure why not sort of I mean they asked why so when I was
00:18a kid I loved holiday specials in the shows that I watch there was this intersection of my life with
00:25the lives of these characters like Hill Street Blues and Mork and Mindy and all my children
00:29that I can still remember the holiday specials even better than I can remember the shows there's something about birthdays
00:35and holiday celebrations we notice things about each other we see how tall kids have grown we notice how much
00:44our hair has gone gray hashtag go pink holidays can make you feel so connected in the way that holidays
00:51can make you feel so isolated and alone I wanted to tell a story in this first episode that was
00:57kind of about time and presence and how
00:59these new lives these characters were experiencing made them feel powered like
01:05they can do anything as long as they're together and at the same time it has a way
01:10of making them feel vulnerable and almost more alone than they've ever felt and yeah
01:17so I think that's all I need to cover today's a cool day because they were
