00:00You'll always be my sisters. Always.
00:04Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most noteworthy television endings,
00:10whether you think them good or bad, that have stood the test of time and public consciousness.
00:14As you can imagine, expect some major spoilers ahead.
00:17Thank you for shopping with us.
00:20Cloud9 is now closed.
00:23Number 30. Happy Ending. Schitt's Creek.
00:26Sticking the landing after six seasons is no easy feat.
00:28Sticking the landing with heart humor and happy tears is even harder.
00:32But against all odds, Schitt's Creek goes out at the very top of its comedic game.
00:35I could easily step in here. I have a lot to say about my son.
00:42You can barely get through this without crying.
00:45Befitting its name, this episode doles out happy endings all around.
00:48Professionally, personally, and in David's case, from a hilarious miscommunication during a massage.
00:53Still, he and Patrick get married.
00:54Moira's career is back on track, and Alexis is finally standing on her own.
00:57What more could you ask for?
01:01Love you!
01:04We may be leaving Schitt's Creek behind, but this farewell was far from crappy.
01:08What is it?
01:12Just wanted one last look.
01:18Driver, we're ready.
01:24The hot priest, the bus stop, that fourth wall break that gutted us all.
01:28Fleabag's finale is a masterclass in bittersweet perfection.
01:31See you Sunday?
01:33I'm joking, you're never, ever allowed in my church again.
01:39I love you too.
01:41After two seasons of using us as her emotional crutch, Fleabag finally lets go.
01:45The priest chooses God, she chooses growth, and in that devastating final scene, she turns
01:50back one last time to stop us from following.
01:52Then, for the first time, she walks off alone.
01:54Sorry, does anyone have a box of tissues?
01:56Ooh, nice to know I'm gonna be all right.
02:04Phoebe Waller-Bridge honors messy humanity over tidy resolution.
02:07It's not exactly the ending we all hoped for, but it's the ending that makes the most sense
02:11for Fleabag and her story.
02:13It wasn't very hard.
02:20Number 28, all sales final, Superstore.
02:23The Cloud9 employees have been through a lot.
02:25A twister, a failed unionization, an acquisition, and a whole global pandemic.
02:29Every step of the way, Superstore acknowledged the reality of being an essential worker with
02:33loads of earnestness in a dry comedic way.
02:35What are you doing here?
02:36I wanted to see everybody one last time.
02:39So, you're back from California.
02:41That's so great.
02:42So, it's incredibly refreshing to see this finale actually give our characters their happily ever after.
02:47The store closes, yes, but we're left with everyone still friends, cherishing the memories
02:51they made just like we did.
02:52If you're lucky, maybe you even get to be friends with a co-worker or two along the way.
02:59Not sure what else you could want in a job.
03:09They even got America Ferrara back to bring closure to Amy and Jonah's love story.
03:13It's the kind of optimistic farewell that makes us glad we spent six seasons shopping at Cloud9.
03:18You waited six years for me.
03:20So, if I have to wait and...
03:27Number 27.
03:28All Good Things.
03:29Star Trek The Next Generation.
03:31While the show boldly went where no man had gone before, it wisely brings it all back down to earth
03:35for an unforgettable last act.
03:36Picard isn't just fighting to save humanity.
03:38He's fighting to prove why they're worthy to exist at all.
03:41A compelling plot that sends the next generation through some incredibly moving storytelling.
03:45Quite frankly, we may not survive, but I want you to believe that I'm doing this for a greater purpose,
03:51and that what is at stake here is more than any of you can possibly imagine.
03:56It's basically two hours of nostalgic reunions, surprising cameos, and heartfelt monologues.
04:01But, led by Patrick Stewart's steadfast guidance, this ship never wavers, on its way to a pitch-perfect landing.
04:07What about my crew?
04:09The anomaly, my ship, my crew, I suppose you're worried about your fish, too.
04:15If it puts your mind at ease, you've saved humanity.
04:19There's a reason Trekkies continue to heap praise on this episode.
04:22That's all we're saying.
04:23I should have done this a long time ago.
04:27You are always welcome.
04:33So, five-card stud, nothing wild.
04:37And the sky's the limit.
04:39Number 26, Sleeping in the Light, Babylon 5.
04:42This isn't a finale as much as it's an epilogue, and a gorgeous one at that.
04:46For all intents and purposes, the story's over before this episode even begins.
05:00Sleeping in the Light takes place 20 years in the future, with Sheridan nearing the end
05:04of his days, and deciding to gather his old crew for one last hurrah.
05:07It's not climactic in the way you'd expect.
05:09Instead, Babylon 5 closes its doors with an introspective look at the lives of its characters,
05:13and how they'll continue to grow and change even beyond what we get to see.
05:17Jakar, Wando, I need you, Marcus.
05:32Thinking back, that's as perfect an ending as you could ask for.
05:44Number 25, With Open Eyes, Succession.
05:47You didn't really think things were just going to work out, did you?
05:49Following all the backstabs, alliances, and even deaths, it would have felt unearned for
05:53the Roys to emerge completely victorious, and yet Succession's downer of an ending is
05:57still a hard pill to swallow.
05:58Clean glow that ashes go.
06:02Clean glow that ashes go.
06:05The sweetest hours that are spent
06:09were spent among the last million.
06:14Tom makes out like a thief, but Kendall, Roman, and Shiv come out the other side of the series
06:18without much to show for it, and the futility of it all is not lost on them.
06:22It doesn't even make any sense!
06:25I'm the eldest boy!
06:27God!
06:28I am the eldest boy!
06:30You're not!
06:31And you know, it mattered to him.
06:32He wanted this to go on.
06:33Well, I mean, she's the bloodline, though.
06:36What?
06:37Succession admirably sticks to its guns until the final roll of its credits,
06:40and it's that laser-focused vision that'll keep you thinking about it for years.
06:56In an era where cynical TV is all the rage and politics is not exactly a laughing matter,
07:01Parks and Rec dare to end on a distinctly hopeful note, and it's all the better for it.
07:05First of all, I just have to say that all of you in the same room at the same time
07:08with your children here,
07:10it's like, it's the greatest thing that's ever happened in the history of America.
07:12And secondly, Ben and I have an announcement.
07:15Leslie's running for governor of Indiana.
07:18What?
07:19What?
07:20Despite all the time-jumping shenanigans,
07:23the show refocuses in its last hour to give each and every character their personal goodbye.
07:27Of course, it then brings them all together for a tearjerker of an ender,
07:30and we dare you to try and make it through with a completely dry eye.
07:33Hang on, Gale made me promise to get a quick picture just for old time's sake.
07:37Good idea! Gary had a good idea!
07:39Parks and Rec remains remarkably optimistic until the very end,
07:42and that's a feat that's growing more and more impressive every day.
07:45Get on with it. I can't hold this smile forever. I look ridiculous.
07:48Okay, hang on.
07:49Okay.
07:53You ready, Ben?
07:56Yes.
07:59I'm ready.
08:04It's literally all come down to this.
08:06Elizabeth and Philip are exposed.
08:08They have one chance to make it back to the motherland.
08:10Only their longtime neighbor and FBI agent Stan is on the way.
08:13Hey!
08:16Stan!
08:18Hi, Paige.
08:20Hi.
08:20What are you doing here?
08:23That's a great question.
08:25What follows is a gripping, powerful standoff that encompasses all the series' themes into one,
08:29electric scene.
08:30This being the Americans, it's also tightly written, tense as hell,
08:33and brought to life by some truly revelatory performances.
08:36It's over.
08:41It's over.
08:42It's all over.
08:45Considering the fallout, start may seem like a sad note to finish on,
08:48but examining the consequences of duty is precisely why the Americans is one of TV's greats.
08:53I feel strange.
09:09No. 22.
09:10Hello, Elliot.
09:11Mr. Robot.
09:12In this final hour, the truth comes out, and it's all a lie.
09:15That's no exaggeration.
09:16Mr. Robot's curtain call tears apart the very foundation of the show,
09:20putting into question every single decision, character, and story beat up to that point.
09:23Sometimes my mask takes over.
09:26He sometimes can become a different person.
09:28See me, Elliot Alderson.
09:30I am here.
09:31I'm the only one that exists.
09:34You're not Elliot.
09:37You're the mastermind.
09:39It's grand, ambitious, and absolutely mind-blowing.
09:42So it's impressive that Hello, Elliot! somehow stays completely grounded in the emotional stakes of its lead character.
09:47For example, if you didn't cry seeing Darlene again, we'd think you're a simulation too.
09:51I am right here.
09:54I promise.
09:55It takes a lot of guts to recontextualize four seasons of television in the homestretch,
09:59but we have to admit it certainly gives you a lot to think about on a rewatch.
10:17Number 21, One Flew Out of the Cuckoo's Nest, The Golden Girls.
10:20Thank you for being a friend.
10:22That's the final bittersweet note the show leaves on, and you couldn't ask for anything better.
10:26I'm not going to oppose this union.
10:28I'm going to celebrate it.
10:29I'm going to lift a glass to it.
10:31I'm going to ask God to bless it.
10:33The Golden Girls filled its seven seasons with cheesecake and funny wisdom,
10:36but at the end of the day, it was about the unbreakable friendship between these four extraordinary women.
10:41It's their bond that kept people coming back to The Golden Girls for decades and decades.
10:45I mean, what can you say about seven years of fights and laughter, secrets, cheesecake?
10:52Yeah, just that, uh, it's been very, um, it's been an experience that I'll always keep very close to my
11:03heart.
11:03And so, seeing them hug in the kitchen one last time may hurt,
11:06but it's also the only satisfying way a show like this could have ended.
11:09We're just grateful they were our friends, too.
11:12Oh, God!
11:13Oh, God!
11:14Oh, God!
11:16Oh, Dorothy!
11:19Oh, Dorothy!
11:19Dorothy!
11:20Number 20, and in the end, ER.
11:22Ready for maximum nostalgia?
11:24Because that's what ER delivers in its cozy finale.
11:26Offering so many winks and nods to the show's history, it's almost dizzying.
11:30We don't just mean all the returning faces, although that definitely doesn't hurt.
11:34Happy birthday, dear Sam!
11:40Happy birthday to you!
11:45Little things like the episode taking place over 24 hours,
11:48Carter demonstrating how to start an IV,
11:50and updated intro credits are all meant to remind us of the pilot.
12:02And boy, do they.
12:03Considering ER is one of the biggest shows of all time,
12:05its ending was always going to be historic.
12:08Thankfully, fans agree this one landed on the right side of history books.
12:11Tight wheezing throughout the ride.
12:12No socks, 88.
12:13Check machine.
12:14Tays are there.
12:15We'll do the laser.
12:16Shut up, make your laser.
12:18Number 19, The Book of Nora, The Leftovers.
12:21From its first episode, which found a group of people living in the aftermath of the sudden
12:25and unexplained disappearance of millions of people,
12:27The Leftovers never promised easy answers, or any answers at all.
12:31The last episode sees Nora Durst attempting to reach the parallel universe where all the missing
12:35people, including her family, reside.
12:37But the episode ultimately is about the stories we tell ourselves when grief is too much to bear.
12:41Every year I would say to myself,
12:43I can't do this.
12:45I'm not doing this.
12:47Never again.
12:48Whether or not Nora's story about the other side is true might not actually be the point.
12:52Ultimately, she accepts the loss of her family and may be able to move on from it.
12:56I'm here.
12:57Number 18, Mr. Monk and the End, Parts 1 and 2, Monk.
13:01A series of blackmails and murders leaves the eccentric homicide detective Adrian Monk on the
13:06trail of a corrupt judge.
13:07Are you going to kill a federal judge tonight?
13:10I'm the judge.
13:12However, this mystery hits close to home.
13:14The judge turns out to be the man who murdered Monk's wife several years before.
13:17The detective's years of obsession and pain come to a head in an incredibly tense climax
13:21as he points a gun at his wife's killer and demands answers.
13:24So you killed her.
13:28And then Trudy.
13:31And for what?
13:34For nothing!
13:35It's a breakthrough moment, made all the more thrilling by Tony Shalhoub's Emmy-nominated
13:39performance.
13:40But the real kicker is the ending, which finds Monk connecting with his wife's long-lost daughter.
13:44Number 17, The End, Lost.
13:47Diehard fans will say it's a masterpiece, others will say it's a complete failure.
13:50But it seems impossible not to have strong feelings about the finale.
13:53With Lost, creators Damon Lindelof, J.J. Abrams, and Jeffrey Lieber crafted a story of incredible
13:59scope for network TV, fearlessly tackling topics like faith, science, metaphysics, and
14:04parallel universes.
14:04You're not supposed to die!
14:06The island needs you!
14:07By the end, so many threads needed closing that we tuned in just to see if they could
14:11land the plane, so to speak.
14:12The biggest, most heartbreaking takeaway seems to be that the parallel universe off the island
14:16is actually the afterlife.
14:17While some viewers wanted a more pat explanation, many thought the show made it clear what happened
14:22in an exchange between Jack Shepard and his father.
14:30Bob Odenkirk's work as the slimy and narcissistic lawyer who enabled the criminals of Breaking
14:35Bad made the spin-off must-see TV.
14:41But Better Call Saul is the story of how an idealistic lawyer becomes the kind of man who
14:45protects and abets criminal kingpins.
14:47And the climax of that story is as thrilling and bittersweet as anything Breaking Bad gave
14:52us.
14:52Saul is brought before a court full of the people who were harmed, directly or indirectly,
14:56by his actions, and he admits his crimes and accepts the punishment.
14:59So yeah, I wasn't there when the meth was cooked, I wasn't there when it was sold, I
15:04didn't witness any of the murders, but I damn well knew it was happening.
15:07I was more than a willing participant.
15:10I was indispensable.
15:12Even as Saul is able to reclaim his conscience and his past as Jimmy McGill, his reputation among
15:16criminals follows him into his long prison sentence.
15:19Number 15.
15:20My finale.
15:21Scrubs.
15:22Okay, so if you want to get technical, this wasn't the last episode of Scrubs, but this
15:25two-part episode was written, filmed, and aired under the assumption that the show might
15:29not make it to a ninth season.
15:31Endings are never easy.
15:32I always build them up so much in my head, they can't possibly live up to my expectations,
15:37and I just end up disappointed.
15:39It follows Zach Braff's Dr. J.D. Dorian as his time at the hospital comes to an end.
15:43Though he's frustrated when no one wants to say goodbye or participate in the standard sitcom
15:47finale cliches with him, he even has to trick his hard-hearted superior, Dr. Cox, into actually
15:52giving him a compliment before leaving.
15:54Because the fact of the matter is, he was a damn exceptional person.
15:59Although the show would return, the episode really is a perfect goodbye to the many characters
16:03who grace the halls of Sacred Heart Hospital.
16:05Number 14, The Last One, Parts 1 and 2, Friends.
16:09Babies are birthed, phalanges are damaged, keys are turned in, and coffee's had.
16:13I have to get off this plane, okay?
16:14Her friend has a feeling something's wrong with the left phalange.
16:19The series finale of Friends gave fans everything they wanted, and it managed to do that and
16:23be just as funny and romantic as ever.
16:25Has a studio audience ever been as excited as they were when Rachel got off that plane?
16:29Oh my god, did you get off the plane, did you get off the plane?
16:35I got off the plane.
16:38The Last One is a legendary series finale.
16:40It's a reminder of how much these people have been through together.
16:43Things may be changing for the Core 6, but the title says it all.
16:46No matter how much happens, they'll always be friends.
16:49Number 13, The Last One, St. Elsewhere.
16:52Fans of the hospital drama St. Elsewhere were shocked, confused, and maybe even a little frustrated
16:57by its final moments.
16:58All right, Pop, what are you doing?
16:59Good.
17:01How was your day up on the building?
17:03Well, we finally topped off the 22nd story.
17:06After six seasons, audiences watched as the beloved Dr. Donald Westfall was revealed to
17:11be a construction worker, and the exterior of St. Allegis Hospital was revealed to be inside
17:16a snow globe belonging to his young autistic son, Tommy.
17:18This suggests that the entire series took place in Tommy's mind, but what makes this even
17:22wilder is that St. Elsewhere had a lot of crossovers with other shows, which then means that
17:26shows like Cheers, Law & Order, and even The X-Files would technically be in what is lovingly
17:30referred to as the Tommy Westfall universe.
17:33Number 12, The Finale, Seinfeld.
17:35You can only be horrible people for so long.
17:38At some point, karma's gonna get you.
17:39All right.
17:40Hold it right there.
17:42What?
17:43You're under arrest.
17:44That's what the four misanthropes of Seinfeld found out in the controversial series finale.
17:48Part conclusion and part greatest hits playlist, Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer are put on
17:52trial and various characters they wronged throughout the series are brought to testify against them.
17:56It's a wrap as soon as the Soup Nazi takes the stand.
17:58Call Yev Kasem.
18:00Huh?
18:04The Soup Nazi.
18:06Soup Nazi?
18:07You people have a little pet name for everybody.
18:08Although a lot of criticism was leveled at how the episode relied on past episodes, instead
18:13of creating a satisfying conclusion, the overarching feeling was that the finale just wasn't funny
18:17enough.
18:18Number 11, Whenever You're Ready, The Good Place.
18:21Everything comes to an end.
18:22Attempt number 803 of my new project.
18:26This is the one.
18:27I can feel it.
18:28Whenever You're Ready is about making meaning of the limited time we have.
18:31It's classic Good Place, but it's also what the best series finales do.
18:34As a series, The Good Place was never afraid to make us rethink anything we thought we knew
18:38about it.
18:39Amazingly, creator Michael Shor could always find humor and lightness, even with a subject
18:42as heavy as the afterlife.
18:44This finale sees its beloved cast of characters finding peace and spiritually moving on, and
18:48it manages that without sacrificing humor or heartfelt emotion.
18:52Fans and critics agreed that it was a fitting send-off for a surprisingly profound sitcom.
18:56Take it sleazy.
18:57Number 10, Family Meeting, The Shield.
19:00TV anti-heroes invite us to root for them to get away with their bad behavior.
19:04I didn't get to say goodbye to my children.
19:06You say goodbye to them the moment you shot another cop in the face.
19:11Be here 9 a.m. sharp tomorrow.
19:13Yet there's always the expectation of just desserts in the end.
19:16After seven seasons of watching detective Vic Mackey break every rule in the book and
19:20indirectly causing the death of his best friend in the process, the finale sees him
19:24receiving what feels like the ultimate payback.
19:26A desk job.
19:26It's a fitting and pathetic end for a man who gave everything for his work no matter who
19:30was destroyed as a result.
19:31I don't do desks.
19:33Fine.
19:33Then you violated your agreement and you'll be prosecuted for everything you confessed
19:36to.
19:37Read the terms of your immunity deal.
19:39Mandatory drug test once a week.
19:42Five written reports a week.
19:44Unfortunately, it's only for three years, but I'm gonna see you feel every single day
19:49of it.
19:50Fans and critics were especially happy to see a TV series with an anti-hero get a satisfying
19:54ending.
19:55After all, the Sopranos finale was still on our minds.
19:58More on that later though.
20:00Number 9.
20:00The Judgment Part 2.
20:01The Fugitive.
20:02The story of Dr. Richard Kimball evading the law to catch his own wife's killer almost
20:06didn't get an ending.
20:07The two-part series finale aired several months after the last regular episode as the network
20:11seemed to not understand that people actually cared about what happened to the characters.
20:15In one of the most watched episodes in TV history, Richard Kimball comes face to face
20:19with his wife's murderer.
20:20Four years of running conclude as Kimball corners the one-armed man at the top of an
20:24amusement park tower.
20:25Yeah!
20:27You killed him!
20:28Yeah, yeah, I killed him.
20:29The ending was incredibly suspenseful and a true game changer for how people expected
20:33a network series to end.
20:35Tuesday, September 5th.
20:37The day the running stopped.
20:41Number 8.
20:41The Last Show.
20:42The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
20:44There was a lot to love about Mary Richards and her colleagues at the WJM TV station.
20:49Hello, Mr. Coleman.
20:50This is Mary Richards in the newsroom.
20:53Whether they were bumbling through a disastrous news broadcast or any number of personal and
20:57professional issues, viewers had grown to love this group of eccentrics.
21:00And just as sad as we were to see them go, Mary and her colleagues have one of the most
21:04memorable sign-offs on any sitcom series.
21:06You know something, Mr. Grant?
21:08Now that it's over, I don't feel as bad as I thought I was going to.
21:12They refuse to break their last group hug.
21:14They move as one awkward unit so they can hold each other just a minute longer before
21:18they all go their separate ways, leaving our TV sets forever.
21:21I think we all need some Kleenex.
21:23There's some on Mary's desk.
21:30It's also credited with inventing a lot of sitcom tropes we still see.
21:34Number 7, Made in America, The Sopranos.
21:37Oh yes, the moment millions of Americans thought their cable went out.
21:47Six seasons and many murders later, Tony Soprano's back is against the wall.
21:51He's staring down the barrel of a full-scaled mafia war with New York and knows that anyone,
21:55even strangers, could be his potential murderer.
21:58People interpret the sudden cuts of Black at the end of the episode in different ways,
22:01but even if he survives, as long as Tony's the boss of The Sopranos crime family, he can never let
22:05his guard down.
22:06Not like we haven't envisioned this day.
22:08No, not much tonight.
22:10He's cursed either way.
22:11This shocking and non-traditional ending has become fodder for analysis and ridicule ever since it aired.
22:16Now the Sopranos is a show I'd recommend.
22:22Number 6, Sozin's Comet, Avatar The Last Airbender.
22:26This beloved animated fantasy series was never a traditional heroic story where the good guys would beat the bad guys
22:31into submission.
22:32Violence wasn't the answer.
22:34It never is.
22:36Then I have a question for you.
22:39What are you gonna do when you face my father?
22:41Avatar The Last Airbender captivated audiences with its stories of war, fascism, and non-violence,
22:46and made these themes palatable for a young audience.
22:49In the final four episodes, collectively titled Sozin's Comet, protagonist Aang is forced to confront his non-violent philosophy.
22:55Even in the face of a dangerous and relentless firebending enemy, Aang refuses to commit murder.
23:00I took away your firebending.
23:02You can't use it to hurt or threaten anyone else ever again.
23:06The finale touches on the series' overarching themes of peace, faith, and violence,
23:10while still delivering a complete and thrilling story with plenty of heart and laughs in between.
23:15Number 5, The Last Newhart, Newhart.
23:17Bob Newhart was no stranger to television audiences when he starred on Newhart.
23:21He had already starred on The Bob Newhart Show a decade before.
23:23So in the series finale of Newhart, when the Bob Newhart of Newhart woke up in the bedroom set from
23:28The Bob Newhart Show,
23:29the audience's mind was completely blown by the revelation of a Newhart multiverse.
23:33Honey, wake up. You won't believe the dream I just had.
23:39Suzanne Plachette, his co-star from the first series, made a cameo in her role as his wife, Emily,
23:43and listened impatiently as he described The Newhart Show as a funny dream he had.
23:47I mean, the maid was an heiress. Her husband talked in alliteration. The handyman kept missing the point of things.
23:56Never did another it-was-all-a-dream twist feel so earned and so funny.
24:01Number 4, One for the Road, Cheers.
24:03You can never be unfaithful to your one true love.
24:06You can never be unfaithful to your one true love, says resident philosopher and accountant Norm Peterson.
24:11Sam Malone, the owner and bartender of Cheers, seems not to know what he means.
24:14The finale has seen him finally lose his business partner and former girlfriend Rebecca Howe to a new man,
24:19and even reconnect with Diane Chambers, the woman he fell in love with early in the series.
24:23Still, it's the bar and the patrons who have become his family, and he realizes just how lucky he is
24:27to have them.
24:28The important thing is we came to our senses.
24:30Things will continue at Cheers as they always have, whether or not we get to see it every week.
24:35Number 3, Everyone's Waiting, Six Feet Under.
24:38While the show always seemed focused on death, a hard topic to get away from when a funeral home is
24:42the primary setting,
24:43the finale of Six Feet Under was a celebration of life.
24:45Live. I'll unfreeze your trust fund. Take it and find whatever life has in store for you.
24:51As Claire Fisher prepares to leave for New York City, she makes amends with her family and drives away from
24:56the only home she's known.
25:11We're treated to a series of flash-forwards set against Sia's Breathe Me that visit each major character at the
25:16point of their death.
25:17It's a breathtaking and surreal sequence that sums up the series' entire theme.
25:21Death is tragic, and goodbyes are inevitable, but this is what makes life precious.
25:25Number 2, Felina, Breaking Bad.
25:27Unlike The Sopranos, Breaking Bad brought its story of a criminal anti-hero to an end in a satisfying and
25:33predictably bloody manner.
25:34Elliot, if we're gonna go that way, you'll need a bigger knife.
25:40Having destroyed his relationship with his family and with the authorities on his tale,
25:44Walter White and his long-suffering henchman, Jesse, are involved in a showdown with a former associate.
25:48But not even Walt finally being honest about why he turned to crime can save him from his fate.
25:52I liked it.
25:57I was good at it.
25:59The finale does a great job tying up all the loose ends.
26:01Walt is honest with those he wronged and faces his punishment.
26:04Jesse gets his freedom and all debts are paid.

26:22Number 1. Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen. MASH
26:26This episode walked so that future series finales could run.
26:29Of course, this is nice too.
26:31Bringing 11 seasons of laughter during wartime to a close is no small feat.
26:35But MASH ended with a bang.
26:36The horrors of war are on full display in the finale
26:39as Hawkeye Pierce suffers from a nervous breakdown over a traumatic incident involving refugees hiding from enemy patrol units.
26:45I didn't mean for him to kill it!
26:52I just wanted it to be quiet!
26:54The ensemble of lovable army physicians spend their last days together, say their goodbyes,
26:59and then go off on their separate paths, forever changed by their time at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital.
27:05The old joke that MASH lasted much longer than the actual Korean War is a testament to its timelessness, even
27:11now, 50 years on.
