Intervista a Denzel Washington su The Equalizer 2 - Senza perdono
Trascrizione
00:08Un personaggio dice al tuo personaggio che ogni giorno lo conosce meno.
00:13Quindi voglio sapere se questa cosa succede a te nella vita reale?
00:18E se è così, quali sono le cose che lo conosce meno ogni giorno?
00:22Non lo so.
00:23Less.
00:28Just things you learn from experience that you don't need anymore.
00:32You simplify your life.
00:36You realize that one of the wonderful experiences I had this year,
00:42I was doing Eugene O'Neill's The Iceman Cometh on Broadway.
00:46And I went to see Ryan Coogler's film Black Panther.
00:50So I didn't want to deal with the crowds and all that.
00:53So I went in the back way and I saw Chad and Ryan talk with them.
00:58And then I saw the movie.
01:00And I had a tear because I was like wow these young guys are taking this thing
01:06and going to the next level with it.
01:08and I felt even in some small way a part of that, you know, bridging that gap.
01:14Before me was James O' Jones or Sidney Poitier or whoever and then myself and my contemporaries.
01:22And now to see this young man and his contemporaries doing what they're doing, it was inspiring.
01:36One thing that your character and the young boy have in common is that they are anchored to their past.
01:44Do you think that sometimes we have to let go necessarily or we have to always remember the ones we
01:53lost?
01:53How can we manage?
01:56I think you, well, you do always remember the ones you love.
02:02And that's, if I had the quick answer for you for that one.
02:06You know what I mean?
02:07I mean, it's not easy.
02:09And, you know, what did he say?
02:12There's pain that hurts and pain that alters.
02:14Yeah.
02:15Thank you so much.
02:16All right.
02:17We have to pay for our debts.
02:21No one is safe.
