00:00You are an etiquette coach and you got to train under the same person who taught etiquette to
00:04Princess Diana, which obsessed. Can you tell me a bit about that? Did you learn anything about
00:09Princess Diana through your mentor? I did. I actually got to hear some of the most intimate
00:15stories about Princess Diana and her training. And as I was going through the same training in
00:19London, which was in my 20s at the time, you know, I was thinking, wait, if I can learn this,
00:24anyone can learn this. So that was actually my first course I started in America. It's called
00:29The Duchess Effect, which I still run today and easily one of my most popular courses. But it's
00:34like all the things that she was learning about how when you walk, how you get out of a car
00:38to not
00:39show your cleavage when you bend down, you hold your clutch to your cleavage and the way that you walk
00:44into a room and you hold your bag with your left hand so that you shake with your right hand.
00:48So
00:48all of these little things that I learned that I started implementing that I teach today and that
00:53I use on the show. You started a class inspired by Princess Kate Meghan Markle. Have you gotten to
00:58work directly with them at all? Well, I can never reveal who I have or have not worked with. But
01:03let's just say I've worked with many royals. And I think from around the world, actually. And I think
01:08that, you know, these, they're really, you know, they're really actually pretty normal. In the end,
01:14like when you actually talk to them, they're really normal. They love etiquette. They love,
01:17more importantly, good manners. So I think that's why, that's why they are and where they've gotten
01:23is I think because the manners, not so much the etiquette. Well, the big rumor going around was
01:27that Dara was a madam. Who are we talking about? Apparently your friend is a madam. Is that true?
01:33What? Which friend? What friend? Dara. She's a madam. Do you know where this rumor stemmed from?
01:43I don't. It wasn't just one person. It's multiple people had heard this in, I don't know where it
01:49comes from or where it came from. But in that moment, I was so defensive. I was like a swordfighter.
01:54I was like, this is not true. Don't, you know. And in that moment, that was my job. I'm such
01:59a loyal
01:59friend. I would have done anything to protect my friend. Well, you weren't the only one who had kind
02:05of connections to the royals because the stepmother of Dara's child is Princess Beatrice.
02:09Do you think the royal family had any thoughts on someone so closely connected to them appearing
02:14on a Bravo show or a show like this? I don't think it was something that was,
02:23I don't think it probably went over very well. No. But do you think that there were conversations
02:28about that? I definitely do. I do. I love Beatrice. I think she's a wonderful, I love her. I've always
02:38had many conversations and she still, she chose to do what she did. And I think now we see the
02:45result.
