00:10hey hello welcome to you find us from Temple Ministries International this is your pastor
00:19Pastor Dr. Donald Schofield we have a message for you today this is coming from Matthew chapter 3 verse 13
00:40all the way through 17
00:48it says when Jesus came from Galilee John and the Jordan to be baptized by him John tried to prevent
00:59him saying I need to be baptized by you
01:05your heavenly team when Jesus answered it says to him I'm permitted to be so now but the answer is
01:17ready
01:18let's fulfill all righteousness didn't he allow it when he had been baptized Jesus came from Italy on the water
01:30and broke the heavens were open to him
01:34he saw the Spirit of God descending and lifted up and the light and lighting upon him
01:46and suddenly a voice came from heaven saying this is my beloved son whom I am well pleased
01:56but he uses this message God gives you the word about the dead, he is baptism
02:04the baptism you want to say? baptism is like the first submission of the kingdom
02:20That's how you get into the kingdom, through baptism.
02:28Baptism is the death of the old man, death of the old you, the old ways of you.
02:43The death of the old ways of you, let's turn to John chapter 3, verses 3 through 5, which
03:06says, Jesus answered and said to him, Most assuredly, I say to you, The last one is born again, and
03:17I seek the kingdom of God.
03:22Nicodemus said to him, How can a man be born when he is old?
03:28Can you enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?
03:33Jesus answered, Most assuredly, I say to you, The last one is born of water and the spirit,
03:41cannot enter the kingdom of God.
03:48Jesus is right here.
03:50Jesus is in verse 5.
04:04Is baptism a must?
04:07Is the kingdom of God?
04:09Yes.
04:12It says in verse 7, Do not marvel that I save you.
04:17You must be born again.
04:21You must be born again.
04:22You're in a way.
04:25Baptist.
04:26Born again.
04:28Born again through baptism.
04:32Now let's turn to Romans, chapter 6, verses 3 through 4.
04:46And it says, I'll pause to a moment, pause the video if you want to, change the scripture.
05:02If you're already there, I'm gonna read it.
05:0918 seconds.
05:1018 seconds.
05:24And now, you find it, see your hand.
05:30You can find it, pause the video, and turn it into it very quick.
05:3418 seconds.
05:35Now, I said, I'll once count a thing.
05:41It says in Romans, chapter 6, verse 3 to 4, it says, Or do you not know that as many
05:49of us, as were baptized into Christ, Jesus were baptized into his death.
06:15And so, we also should walk in the newness of life.
06:25This is saying right here.
06:27That Jesus' actual death was through baptism.
06:38That Jesus' actual death was through baptism.
06:40We were baptized into the kingdom, Lord God.
06:49There is now.iva,
06:55I am now part of the kingdom of God. That Jesus'
07:12actual death is through the kingdom of God. That Jesus'
07:15actual death may have one verse first. This is saying
07:17In order to be baptized as a Christian, and you get your head immersed, your head sprinkled
07:31or dumped in the water, and coming back up, and that is when the Spirit comes to you.
07:42That's when the Spirit comes to you, and that is when we were baptized until Jesus' death,
07:52and we're buried.
07:54We have Jesus to baptize our old man.
07:58He's buried our old self, always buried.
08:03We have Jesus to baptize him into death, and death as Christ brings him to death.
08:10And glory of the Father, who is God.
08:16And so, we should also walk in the newness.
08:20The newness of life.
08:23We should no longer go back to our old habits, our old ways.
08:27We're doing things.
08:34We're doing things.
08:36Amen.
08:41Amen.
08:42Amen.
08:42You know Jesus?
08:47Amen.
08:51And in verse eight, it says, it looks permis.
08:55Now, if we die in Christ, believe that we shall also live with him.
09:02In verse nine it says, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more, death
09:09no longer has the men over them. Verse 10 it says, for the death that Jesus died. He died. Jesus
09:21died. Jesus died to sin. Once for all. The life he lives, he lives to God.
09:35Once he, once the old ways he's done, God doesn't remember it anymore. He is dismissed. None. No. Praise him.
09:53Praise. Praise God. I like the end of it.
09:59Dance like you have to victory. Sing like you have to victory. Shout like you have to victory. Do it,
10:11yeah, man.
10:11Okay. Now, this is, this is Pastor Dr. Thomas Ophiel of Vine Dressers Temple Church,
