00:04And it's been the story of the basketball season, honestly, the disrespect for Miami, Ohio.
00:10Look at that. They're not even the favorites to win the conference tournament after going 31-0.
00:15It is Akron, minus 125, of course, probably going to be one of those two teams, Akron or Miami winning.
00:22But if you like Kent State, they're 11-1. How do you see this playing out?
00:26Well, I think the reason for that is those two teams on January 3rd, Akron lost a 76-73 game
00:32against the Red Hawks.
00:34So they know that they can play with them.
00:35My Bobcats, the alma mater, took Miami to the limit Friday night, didn't they?
00:41What a game. Sending that game to overtime and had a couple of chances to win.
00:45Miami obviously, you know, pulls it out and their players had something to say about it afterward.
00:51But I think the key for Miami is their balance. When you have four players that score 10 or more
00:55points, when you shoot the ball, you have four regular players that shoot 40% or better from three-point
01:02range.
01:02So if they're on in the tournament, they can make that. I think they're in no matter what happens in
01:07the MAAC tournament.
01:08And so if you're a team looking to get off the bubble, you're not rooting for Akron here or Kent
01:13State or Ohio.
01:14You're hoping Miami closes that out, gets to 34-0 and gets to the tournament that way.
