00:06was created by a human being and requires a high degree of creative input. Okay, that seems
00:12reasonable. But there's still something bothering me. This cushion, for example, was designed by an
00:19interior designer and handmade by craftspeople. Clearly, there's a lot of creative input here,
00:25but would we call this art? What about this? Both of these things were clearly made with a lot of
00:32thought and care, but we wouldn't dream of calling them art. And that made me realize that there's a
00:38missing ingredient in my definition. Because if I look at the cushion and decide that it's not art,
00:44I'm not using my brain to come to that conclusion.
