Protestas y enfrentamientos en SFM: Estudiantes del Liceo Manuel María Castillo exigen mejoras

SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS – Una jornada de tensión se vivió este lunes en los alrededores del Politécnico Manuel María Castillo, donde miembros del Frente Estudiantil Revolucionario (FER) y estudiantes del centro educativo escenificaron una intensa protesta que culminó en enfrentamientos con agentes de la Policía Nacional.  Los manifestantes exigen una serie de reivindicaciones que consideran urgentes para el funcionamiento del plantel. Entre las principales demandas destacan:  Destitución o traslado del director: Alegan que el actual directivo no cumple con sus funciones administrativas por dedicarse a la docencia universitaria en horario laboral.  Mejoras en infraestructura: Construcción de un comedor escolar y laboratorios de química y artes.  Investigación de la APMAE: Solicitan auditar la Asociación de Padres, Madres y Tutores, alegando que está presidida por una persona que no tiene vínculos familiares con ningún estudiante del centro.
