00:07Iraq's oil ministry says output has dropped to about 1.3 million barrels per day,
00:13down sharply from roughly 3.3 million barrels before the conflict begins.
00:20Officials also reported that two drones attacked the Burjesea oil area southwest of Basra,
00:26damaging warehouses owned by a foreign logistics company.
00:30The ministry said the attack did not affect oil facilities or production fields
00:34and confirmed that operations at nearby energy infrastructures continue as normal.
00:40Iraq has already reduced crude output earlier after export cuts linked to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
00:47Energy supplies from major regional producers, including Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq and Saudi Arabia,
00:53are now under pressure as the conflict disrupts production and exports.
