00:00You want to hear your beautiful names and how old you are.
00:06I'm nine, I'm nine, I'm nine, I'm nine, I'm seven years old.
00:08Pinker, next.
00:10I'm nine, I'm 14.
00:12Okay.
00:14I am Jewel and I'm 14 years old.
00:16How many days?
00:18I am G. Cook and I'm seven years old.
00:20Seven years old.
00:22I am six years old.
00:25Okay, for the season of Lent, we are now in the season of Lent.
00:31Do you know what Lent is?
00:32It started during Ash Wednesday and it will continue until Easter for 40 days.
00:41So that is a season called Lent.
00:44And for the season of Lent, for my children's time, I'm going to do magic tricks.
00:49So I'm going to do one today.
00:51I'm going to do one when I am back.
00:55And the reason is this, because we're covering the subject of miracles.
00:59And miracles are things that are so awesome.
01:02They happen, it's amazing.
01:04But I want you to see is that what I'm going to do is not a miracle.
01:09It is called slap of hand.
01:11We need to say magic.
01:12But Jesus, when he was healed on earth, he was able to do things that were impossible for humans to
01:19do.
01:19For example, he was able to walk on water.
01:22Second, he healed the sick.
01:24Also, he cast out demons.
01:26You know what he did with the people?
01:27There were 5,000 of them in one incident.
01:30He was able to feed all 5,000 people, 25,000 actually, with just five loaves of bread and two
01:36fish.
01:37That is a miracle.
01:39What I'm happy to do is stand on where I'm at right now and then face the altar.
01:45Down here, everybody.
01:47Okay.
01:47And then face the altar.
01:49I'm going to put my microphone down.
01:52And I want to tell you something.
01:53I have a hobby, and my hobby is what is called stamp collecting.
02:00When you collect stamps, when you collect stamps, I don't know if we have people here who are into stamp
02:07collecting.
02:08You are.
02:09Oh, fantastic.
02:10I think Harry, I have a triangular stamp.
02:14Believe me, it's amazing.
02:16Now, when you collect stamps, you need to have what is called a stamp book or a stamp cat.
02:22Look at this.
02:23Okay.
02:23It is just blank.
02:25Okay.
02:25Every page is just blank.
02:27And that is where you will put the stamps.
02:30And when you put the stamps, then you can complete it, and it is called a stamp collection.
02:37Now, I have a male here, and she'll be surprised to know that this was dated, if you look at
02:44that date stamp.
02:45This was December 23, 1993.
02:50December 23.
02:51Oh, no.
02:52Actually, is that correct?
02:52Okay.
02:53December 23, 1999.
02:55Could you please read for me the return address?
03:00Who sent this mail to me?
03:02Would you want to write it?
03:04Okay.
03:05All right.
03:06Oh, Asia.
03:06What's the address?
03:08Who was it from?
03:10Who was it from?
03:10This envelope?
03:11Who was it from?
03:11This envelope?
03:11This guy.
03:12Okay.
03:13Can you read it?
03:15This chair and Mrs. Dave Marcelino.
03:17No, no, no.
03:18The return address.
03:21Okay.
03:22What's the address?
03:234-8-5-9-F-2-0-6-6.
03:34Remember two weeks ago, you wanted to go to a house?
03:37That's that house.
03:39This mail.
03:44Remember that?
03:47This is for Florence.
03:49December 23, 1999.
03:52She sent me a Christmas card.
03:54And in order for her to send this card, she needs to put the stamp.
03:59I wanted to collect that stamp because that stamp actually is the picture of a mother carrying
04:06a child.
04:07And you want it too.
04:08So, once again, once again, just hold this envelope.
04:12Okay?
04:12Hold this envelope.
04:13When you collect stamps, what you need is a stamp book.
04:18Okay?
04:19So, it is vacant, right?
04:21It is vacant.
04:22It is vacant.
04:23It is vacant.
04:24However, if you put that stamp in here, you know what's going to happen?
04:30Agent, would you please put that stamp in the first section?
04:35Okay?
04:36I want you to blow.
04:37All of you.
04:39When you do that, something fabulous happens.
04:42Whoa!
04:47Stemp is in here.
04:48Okay?
04:49However, if you remove the envelope, take the envelope again.
04:55Okay?
04:55Blow.
04:56You're back in the same thing.
04:58Whoa!
05:01There is nothing.
05:01I want to make an illustration.
05:04This is you.
05:05This is me.
05:07Our lives are just like blank pages.
05:10Nothing is happening.
05:11But Jesus was the stamp of approval.
05:14He has peace.
05:15He has joy.
05:16He has love.
05:16He has everything that our hearts desire.
05:19Put it in there.
05:21If you have Jesus in your life.
05:22Blow again.
05:24If you have Jesus in your life.
05:26Everything that is from Jesus.
05:29Oh, yes.
05:30Okay.
05:30Page by page.
05:31Okay.
05:34Now, if you remove Jesus from your life.
05:38Take away Jesus from your life.
05:40You're back with the same one.
05:42Okay?
05:42Blow.
05:43Okay.
05:44It's blank again.
05:46It is blank again.
05:48It is blank again.
05:50Want to see it again?
05:51You put Jesus in your life?
05:53Yeah.
05:53Okay.
05:54Yes.
05:54Okay.
05:54Put Jesus in your life.
05:56And you blow.
05:58Okay.
05:59Something different happens.
06:02Now, that is not a miracle.
06:05That is like, okay?
06:06That is magic.
06:07And every time I do magic.
06:09It will become progressively more difficult.
06:12In fact, my final act.
06:14My final magic trick for you.
06:16Will be a sword that will disappear.
06:18And after it goes into a bouquet.
06:21Okay?
06:23When I was much younger.
06:24I did magic tricks.
06:26But I was sharing the gospel.
06:27Using those magic tricks.
06:29Okay?
06:29Hold your hands by the hands.
06:31Close your eyes.
06:32Say.
06:32You are Jesus.
06:33You are Jesus.
06:34When you are in my life, everything that you have to offer becomes mine.
06:45Love, joy, peace, happiness, and so much more.
06:51In Jesus' name.
06:53Amen.
06:54That is your magic for today.
06:56And I'll give you one more magic or two more magic tricks.
07:00And the last one is something that I need you to prepare for.
07:02One more.
07:04Next time I'm here.
07:05Next time I'm here.
07:06I'm going to do.
07:07I'm going to do.
07:08But I'll do magic tricks.
07:10I'll do magic tricks.
07:10If you want to learn more magic, I'll be more than happy to train you.
07:14Now, the only thing about magic stuff, they're expensive.
07:17They're kind of expensive.
07:19So the children are wonderful.
07:21But before I dismiss them, we have a special treat today.
07:25Oh, you're done?
07:28Okay.
07:28All right.
07:30Next time they are here, we'll have a special treat.
07:33But give the children a lot of things.
