Dogs stranded at sea-based TNB tower rescued by Civil Defence Force

Two dogs have been rescued from a Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) monopole transmission tower surrounded by sea along the Penang Bridge.   Central Seberang Perai Civil Defence Force district officer Capt Mohd Fadhil Fahmi Zaini said the agency received a distress call about the stranded animals at tower P7 at 9.53am on Saturday (March 7). 00:22A five-man team was deployed to the location and arrived at 10.15am, carrying out the rescue

00:28with assistance from the Marine Police and nearby fishermen.

00:32The operation concluded about an hour later with both dogs rescued.

00:36Mohammad Fadil said the dogs are believed to have been abandoned at the monopole.
