Two dogs have been rescued from a Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) monopole transmission tower surrounded by sea along the Penang Bridge.

Central Seberang Perai Civil Defence Force district officer Capt Mohd Fadhil Fahmi Zaini said the agency received a distress call about the stranded animals at tower P7 at 9.53am on Saturday (March 7).

00:36Mohammad Fadil said the dogs are believed to have been abandoned at the monopole.
