Stray dog rescued from water tank in elaborate rescue in India

A group of villagers managed to rescue a dog from a well in northern India.

Footage captured on September 10 near Gursai Nallaha shows the dog stranded in a water tank.

The group, unwilling to touch the stray dog, carries out a long rescue effort involving ropes and sticks.

Eventually, the dog is lifted from the hole and runs away.
