00:01At least 23 people have died in devastating floods in Kenya's capital, Nairobi.
00:08After torrential rains battered the city overnight on Friday,
00:12flash floods swept over roads and into homes and businesses.
00:18Residents recount the scenes of destruction they witnessed.
00:27The river banks broke as the rains continued and cars were swept away,
00:31and water flowed into our shops, destroying property for many.
00:39One person was electrocuted and died due to the heavy rains.
00:44Another one was drenched and he took cover outside a restaurant where he died from the cold.
00:53Search and rescue efforts are underway since Saturday and are set to continue all weekend.
00:59At least 29 people were rescued overnight, according to police forces.
