00:02Fires and smoke across Tehran's horizon.
00:05U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran and countries in the region show no sign of stopping.
00:10As the conflict enters the second week,
00:13ambulance waited outside this hotel in Lebanon's capital, Beirut,
00:17after an Israeli strike killed at least four people and wounded a dozen more.
00:22Tehran's Mahabad airport was also hit,
00:25with satellite images showing damaged planes and debris.
00:28And Israel says there's more to come.
00:33We will, in any case, do whatever is necessary to protect our communities and our citizens.
00:38As for the next steps in Iran, we have a well-organized plan,
00:43with many surprises, to destabilize the regime and enable change.
00:50Iran hasn't been idle either.
00:52It's been firing retaliatory shots at Israel, most of which are intercepted midair.
00:58Officials in Iran and Lebanon said the U.S.-Israel alliance
01:02is implicated in the deaths of over 1,300 Iranians and at least 300 Lebanese.
01:08Iran's security chief said the U.S. and Israel are trying to burn down the Islamic regime.
01:13But Iran will not let them.
01:17Their issue was the fundamental disintegration of Iran.
01:20Their perception was that it would be like Venezuela.
01:23They would strike, take control, and it would be over.
01:26But now they are trapped.
01:28U.S. President Donald Trump has said he's watching Iran's election for a new supreme leader,
01:33following the former leader's death in a U.S. airstrike.
01:36We don't want to come back every five years or every ten years and do this,
01:40so we want to pick a president that's not going to be leading their country into a war.
01:47Demonstrations for and against the war are being held around the world.
01:51In the U.K., protesters stood outside a U.S. military base,
01:55calling for Washington to keep the U.K. out of it and to keep its hands off Iran.
02:00In France, people are also worried about the war's impact on Iran's sovereignty
02:05and on the civilians in the region who are suffering.
02:11We cannot say that we want war because it weakens the regime
02:14and will enable it to be overthrown.
02:16Because in fact, we will be passing off the deaths of children,
02:20women, young people, the future of Iran as collateral damage.
02:24In what world can this be passed off as collateral damage?
02:27People in Israel are also divided,
02:30with clashes erupting at what was a peaceful anti-war protest in Tel Aviv.
02:35This is not a representative of the Israeli society.
02:38And in fact, Arabs and Jews are against the Iranian regime.
02:42Trump has now said he will not settle the war,
02:45so the future of Iran and the wider Middle East conflict has yet to be decided.
