00:00So I was scared to film this, but here's my story.
00:04I was only nine months old when my mom saw something in my eye.
00:08She asked my dad to take me to the doctors to have them look at it,
00:12and they thought it was just a floating cataract.
00:14Two surgeries later, I had ended up with no vascular glaucoma.
00:18We then flew to Pennsylvania to try to get the best doctors,
00:23and two months later, I became sick with fever, and my eye had completely turned white.
00:29My mom had then took me to the hospital where they found out that I had no vision in my
00:33eye due to retina detachment.
00:35My mom wanted to fly me to Miami, and the next morning, I was in Miami where my doctor told
00:43me that I had to get my eye removed.
00:45He told me I could only keep it if it didn't hurt, but I was in too much pain.
00:50They later found out that it was cancer.
00:53If I didn't get my eye removed, I would have passed away, and cancer would have won, but it didn't.
00:58I was in the middle of the hospital.
