00:00Okay, I get this question a lot. So when I was nine months old, my mom found like a white
00:04dot in my eye.
00:06And my dad took me to the doctors and they believed that it was just a floating cataract.
00:10But then they did two surgeries and I ended up with a vascular glaucoma.
00:14We flew to Pennsylvania to look for the best doctors, but then I ended up sick with fever and my
00:20whole eye completely turned white.
00:22The hospital told my mom that I had no vision in my eye and then I had retina detachment.
00:25My doctor said that I can only keep my eye if it didn't hurt, but he knew that I couldn't
00:30see out of it.
00:32After I had my eye removed, they found out that I had a rare cancer called medulla epidural.
00:37And if I didn't have my eye removed, I would have died within six months.
00:41Medulla epidural is a cancer found in the brain, but it had moved to my eye.
00:46So basically, my eye saved my life.
